You put in your nickel and pull the handle and.... you're never REALLY sure what is going to happen.  I am surprised there are so many Leatherman pretties on today.  And so few Opinels until Dan and Gra got all ostentatious with them.  I was expecting Barry to Opinel us lavishly.  Did he?  Nu-uh.  Went all old school PST on us.  Yummy.  I love it.
Great posts.  Anyone who isn't following along is just plain missing out.  I hope friend BPRoberts can post a photo of his newly won SOG before the month is out.  Who knows?  Someone might ask for a show of SOGs before this thing is over.
I am really liking the non-knife and non-multi posts as well.  Pens, robotic lawn mowers, strange meters, coffee presses.  Great stuff.  Show it all.  Best wishes.  G

Can I jump in on Day 10?  I will post 9 other times to make for the missed days 1 thru 9, as well as finish the month.

Day 10 and the mini challenge.
If I remember; it's titanium, Damascus, carbon fiber and opinei.
The only titanium that I have is in my hip implants.  As this is a family oriented group I'll forgo pics of my hips.
As for Damascus, first is my Higonokami set, Damascus, hammered and stainless.
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
Next is a small Shelby Mihalevich friction folder in deer tine and Damascus.
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
My carbon fiber entrant is a MiniChamp that I rehandled with scales from the AliExpress.
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
My final submission is an Opinel made knife that was sold at Sportsman's Warehouse.  It's one that I modded into a wharncliffe carving knife.

Jeff asked a question about coming aboard on day 10.  There is no way to stop anyone from making a post here.  There is no way to stop anyone from making 30 posts in 20 days.  I would like to point out that getting in this late might stop someone from getting a badge.  I did say MIGHT.  I am not in charge of badges.  Sometimes the moderators are sticklers for the rules.  Sometimes anything seems okay.
It is pretty usual stuff for someone to miss a day.  Internet is off.  Away from their computer.  Balky cell phone.  Power outages.  Family things.  Making up a day now and then is expected.  And accepted.  This is actually a July only challenge by definition.  Can anyone make up that many days when the challenge is already a third over?
There are more questions than answers from me.  Fact is, this is all above my pay grade.  Do as you please, I say.  Just don't be surprised if you get gigged for a rule breach.  Best wishes. Gary

This has been my daily combination for a few years.  I love the coffee that the Aeropress makes.  I recently discovered the method of making cold brew in ~5 minutes using the Aeropress, which is awesome for summer.

The insulation and ceramic liner on the Fellow’s mug is great.

I did have to recently pick up the new Aeropress Go +.  It is a sweet improvement over the original Go, but the mug won’t replace the Fellows for regular use.

The wife and I are thinking about going for the XL

I posted my wife’s titanium Charge last week for Wave Wednesday, but I’m pretty sure the top two tools on this Windeler Stak are titanium, and pictured with my Opinel no 8.

Day 10

Some corrugated titanium panels with various levels of patina, two titanium plates, some titanium rods, and weirdly enough a knife with a titanium blade. (Which is a orrible material for a blade). I did try to find some woven carbon fiber and thread that should be around here, but found neither that nor the epoxy. I'll find it when I least need it I'm sure!

Day 2 Makeup
A chinese multi-tool inherited from my late friend.  He had all kinds of this inexpensive stuff.

I had fun with the other challenges, so, at least I’ll have some fun.  It does keep me looking at a thread everyday, sometimes every few hours.

Day 10
Damascus and Opnel

The Damascus fixed blade is just that mass produced import stuff you find everywhere now, but its a souvenir from my last trip home. I went to an antique mall that I had been going to since I was a kid....
The last 15yrs hadn't been kind; almost no vendors left, it now mostly stold cheap furniture. A far cry from the warehouse jammed with everything imaginable. I ended up not with the score of old tools I had hoped for, but this knife and an old Xacto carving set.
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
But for now I'm just a lost jack of trades with neither mastery nor home. ~NoaIsumi

Day 10

I don't have much titanium gear. Light, indestructible, and costs-more-than-my-house isn't a set of parameters that I often look for in EDC. I do love the Olight Opry top center. It's the only one of those clip/prybar multitools I carry with any kind of frequency. I like the straight axis bit holder, vs the right angle one that a lot have. Much more stable and easier to use. Sometimes I'll slip a 'biner on the cord to hold my knife. All in all, about the only tool in that market segment I'd actually recommend. Light, practical, and reliable.

I have a much better range on Opinels (and a few more stashed away). For such simple knives, it's amazing how easily they can pick up a story.  The Green #12 is my official carving knife, after I took it to my parents once and had to carve a turkey with it. I blow the whistle when people can come eat. The tick tweezers got swapped out for the striker rod.

The #8 and #10 on the left were workhorses when we moved into the house. That half serrated blade is great for boxes and, again, a great in line bit driver.

The tiny red #4 has no good stories. It's tiny and awkward and the collar is pointy and stabbed me.

All the way at the bottom is the #6 that SLICED AN ENTIRE CAMPER AWNING OFF IN CUT, (after I threw all my larger tools off the roof because I thought I was done working) despite it's tiny size. Truly, the little knife that could.

The #7 (open top right) is probably my favorite to carry, just a nice size. No specific crazy stories, just a good reliable knife.

And the #8 is one that I carved myself (using other pocket Opinels, plus a little file work) which was such a cool project. I don't carry it much (not the right size for me) but I love showing it off.

Day 10

I don't own any titanium or carbon fiber EDC items but I just picked an Opinel a few weeks ago.  I can see why people like them.  I use the Victorinox pocket sharpener I picked up in the Sos Surprise Box GAW to give it a quick edge.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

Hello to day 11
There are some really cool pictures from the team. I like those Opinels but am scared to get one.
I have SWAMBO ( She Who Always Must Be Obeyed) used to the fact that one cannot have enough Leathermans and am sadly losing the fight on the second Landrover ('64 88 soft top) . I fear that if I got one Opinel it is , as we all know , not enough and would start that  collection as well . You lot here are mostly to blame after showing me all your prettys.

anyway Day 11 pic is a small mod. Very handy and helped with rewiring of the 64 shorty.

Day 10

I don't have anything with carbon fiber, titanium, no opinel either. 😢  I'll post something different than what I normally carry tough.  I carried this Benchmade auto during my deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.  It has been used so much, that the spring for the auto function has broken and been replaced 3 times.
