Really like the tools on the Deluxe Tinker.
I might pick up another someday (my old one is now in the UK). It contains most of my essential paracord tools, and not much else, in a fairly compact package.

My smallest knife a titanium blade that actually locks.
That sure is a tiny little thing!

Not exactly exciting...
Night shifts usually aren't. That's why  I preferred them on deployments.

Sadly, this magnifying glass is part of my EDC a lot more that I'd like to admit.
I'll be showing something with a magnifier tomorrow.

I had a Playmate cooler before this one, but I didn't like it.  You remember the type.  Handle is built into a peak that is the lid.
I sure do. My Dad carried a mini Playmate cooler to work for many years.

More great stuff for today, y'awl! :2tu:

Day 14

Today we'll take a look at a bit of an odd footnote in Schrade history: the 4x4. The diamond-plate handles are kinda cool, but I am unsure what the steel is. Its non-removable pocket clip that restricts the user to rifht-handed, tip-down carry wouldn't fly today.

I got this Gerber Mini Suspension-P in a set along with a Paraframe and a Shard for something like $20.00.  I figured that was reasonable.  Tool itself isn't ALL bad.  I wouldn't put a lot of pressure on the pliers as they look a lot like the pliers on the Dime.  Just have to keep in mind the limitations on these small MTs.

One of these days I'll pony up for a PS-4.

I got one plier wrench, and then I got three more sizes. I was absolutely impressed with how much I could do with it, and how easily. Crimping, bending, straightening, turning, tightening, cracking, even holding bits to drive screws. I love them. My favorite is the 160mm. :salute:

They are awesome tools...I have all the sizes except the biggest one. So handy to have.

Gerber Zip tools.  These were designed to attach to a jacket or backback zipper.  I have another one with hex tools hiding somewhere in my pile-o-tools.

Day 14

Swisschamp today and in honor of some of the other pics of Knipex pliers wrenches,  I posted a couple of my favorite sizes. The XS is perfect for pocket carry and pairs nicely with the Cobra XS. The 150 size handles many things in a more pocket able size when I need more capacity. I do like the comfort grip handles.

Understanding limitations is key.  Some bash small multitools because they want them to be able to do what the full size of each tool can do.  But for me it is a matter of the tool in my pocket or pouches is better than the tool I don’t have when I need it.

I always see the Knipex XS and think how handy they look, but then never purchase.

Hello to day 15.
My pic today is my '98 Wave. My most trusted MT that has been repaired many times due to a fair bit abuse of the years. She is now mostly retired but would my pick if I could only pick one LM to keep from the collection.
She has a few scratches that I may need to see if they will buff out.  :D.

A lot of folks here love Knipex.  I think I have one pair in my toolbox that I don't use too often... I should buy a set and get to know them better  :tu:

Pocket slips

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Protects the scales on my traditional knifes. And, saves wear on the threads of my dress slacks prevent unexpected holes in which important items can slip out and become lost.

A essential  aspect of my day.  Not loos knives.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Executive helping adjust the flow on a blue Zippo butane insert. I feel like the odd man out on this, a lot of my friends love it, but I think it's more least favorite Zippo. The Exec is great for small screws, between the file and the peeler tip.

Day 14:
We hid inside from the heat all day, so I didn't use my knives or tools today. My little boy asked me when he was going to get his first "big" knife since he only has a little Classic SD. So we went straight to my box, and he picked out this translucent green Spartan. I let him choose his accessories, too. He picked a green toothpick, green lanyard, blue torx driver, and an orange ball head pin. He was excited, to say the least the best part was that when I went to look for it to take pics just now, I found it in his cap with two hot wheels cars and his wallet right next to my cap with all of my edc pieces on the kitchen counter. Being a dad is the best.
