Now? Well sure if you say so. Did I ever mention that the reward I was giving out were some really cool ants I discovered in my back yard?
Yeah. Right there by my lawn mower. They are really neat. I found out that I could stick some to a postcard with scotch tape and send them to the winner that way. I'm not really sure if that kills them or not, but I have lots more.
I will just mail you some. Winner or not. Might better keep the guessing game going until the end of the month. I'd hate for somebody else to miss out on their postcard. Best wishes. G

Let's see.....GraFarmer? Hmmmmm...l can't find your entry for the contest. Numbers 25,26,and 27 are still available. Of course we are guessing how many will sign up for the MTO Anniversary Challenge. Friend Farmer X has 28. All numbers greater than that are open. Unlikely, but open.
There is another reward for whoever guesses correctly. Maybe not as fun as ants wiggling on a postcard, but still amusing. Winner will be announced on July 1.
Hope your construction is going well. Too hot to work outside here. Best wishes. G

Hand tools, power tools, offbeat tools allowable? Photo stuff? It seems that will be my doing this summer anyway..

Hi Gra,
I know you are signed up for the challenge. You didn't enter a guess for how many would eventually sign up. Not required of course.
We even had one member who hazarded a guess but hasn't signed up for the challenge. Yet. Like you, he is changing accommodations with all its headaches and difficulties. Building is even more trying.
I think most everyone has signed up already. There are usually one or two who decide at the last moment, or even a day or two in the challenge. I hope the kiddies have a place on the hearth for hanging their stockings this year. Best wishes. G

For Vidar,
Almost any tool would be eligible for this challenge. Cameras are definitely a part of MTO already. If anyone has doubts about their post, just post a photo of their geiger counter or rock axe and put a SAK or multi in the photo.
One could legitimately post 30 photos of the same Victorinox Classic or a one piece tool. It is desirable to mix things up however.  I would encourage photos which include usage or multiple tools.
Sign up if you are so inclined. I'm sure you are welcome. Best wishes. G

This may be the easiest Challenge on MTO.  Difficult Challenges are fun, but its nice to have one where you can carry and post pretty much whatever you want.

Well, if you're gonna give ants to everyone, I'm bowing out.  We have enough of them as well as other crawling critters, in my corner of this rock.

The ants were mostly for BPRoberts. I was surprised when GraFarmer wanted some too. The primary reward comes later and doesn't involve crawlies. More info on day one. Best wishes. G

Barry is here. Wait. Wait.....I can feel another rule coming on.
Let's see. Sherry has to do at least one mandatory Fisher photo. I think it only fair and proper that Barry Rowland do at least one sheepdog photo. All in favor....a show of hands. All opposed....the motion carries and so ordered.
You can have PitCarver's ants. He doesn't want any more. Best wishes. G

I'm probably gonna do a double dip, too. It'll be the Dean challenge if a scout badge will be available. Otherwise... :dunno:

And I definitely have enough ants around here, so no need for any more.

So, we can get this badge and another badge, right?
I already have this badge. Can I get two different badges?
I want to do the Batman Challenge, and the Country of Origin Challenge. Can I do the Batman Challenge in one thread, and do the Country of Origin Challenge in this thread, and get both badges? Or does one badge have to be the Anything Challenge?

I believe one badge would have to be the Anniversary Challenge. The moderating team would have to confirm that, though.

Friend Reamer got knocked out of his country of origin challenge with medical issues. Who needs a badge anyway?
I hope you can stay in Reamer. It will be just as much fun to post your one country offerings and complete your challenge. Even with no badge. Best wishes. G
