Congrats, Bro.  When I retired 12 years ago after 28 years, I realized how all-consuming the job really is, even when you’re “off-duty”.  However, you may get that rude awakening occasionally, like I did about 4 years ago when I got a call from the State Attorney’s Office about a case that was over ten years old. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.  Enjoy!

It's started already.  My youngest graduates from high school in a couple of weeks, which means things to get ready and ceremonies to attend.  We're doing the college tours right now, luckily in the local area.  Lisa, you're right...I have no idea how I got things done when I was working  :rofl:

Congrats, Bro.  When I retired 12 years ago after 28 years, I realized how all-consuming the job really is, even when you’re “off-duty”.  However, you may get that rude awakening occasionally, like I did about 4 years ago when I got a call from the State Attorney’s Office about a case that was over ten years old.
