I don’t carry it much, as it is smaller than I generally prefer.
I'm much the same way. Peanuts are neat little knives, but I prefer something that fills my hand a little better.

First one is Case Sodbuster.
Amber bone?

 I've put that on my shopping list!

More great stuff today, y'awl! :2tu:

Day 18. GEC

I  am liking the English Jack more each time I carry it.   The half stop is a nice feature my CASE 75 lacks.  Yet the back spring on the Case is a 6 at most. The EJ a 7.5 every day😁

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

@BPRoberts - I like your take on the GIJack. Agree an AWL would complete the little package.

I now remember where my 2 nd one went😳 it found its way into the SOS surprise box LAST TIME STOPPED at my house.

I looked high and low last week to take up to my brother to assist with his brew master duties at home.

But, since the backup could not be found there was no way he was getting mine.  Thought of a Lrg Scout, but he liked thin, light and capable.  He received a Muskrat a few birthdays ago, and carries daily until pivot edge of blade made a hole in his pocket. So I gave home a pocket sleeve. 😁
Besides his daughter reported chicken processing started today.

I don't think I've had a Case that had a pull stronger than a 5. My slimmed-down Camillus 27, on the other hand, is about a 20!

These are A Wright grafting knives with bone handls, these were my grandfather's. After he died, my grandmother threw everything he owned out into a lean to.....20 years later, as I am clearing the rubbish and rusty metal I find these two gems

Day 19

A classic Opinel No7 today.  I don't know where I got the idea but I do like to file out a tiny bit in the collar so as to let the blade sit more inline with the handle.  I suspect it adds nothing practical but I like the lines it creates. :D

I am most pleased it found a VERY GOOD home and can be appreciated and used.

I just did not immediately remember what or where it was for about a day while prepping to return to home for family care.

Use in good health!  Most delighted that it is in YOUR hands.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Those are real working knives😁. Great find and recovery.

I love the Buck traditionals.  The stockmans with 3 backsprings allow the blades to deploy straight. And the Canoe’s wood grain always appear to be positioned perfectly on the frame. Actually I have luv for all Canoes😍

Day 19 GEC

And my reason to visit and contribute.

My English Jack is in my pocket and even saw knife action on a stroll out and about.

The pen blade handled some if not awl cuts
