Solid choice; a very capable pattern in my experience.

The half & half is too much lemonade for me.  I find about 75% tea 25% lemonade about perfect, but not so easy to find pre-made.

That's about the ratio I usually mix my Arnold Palmers in.

30 Scouts in 30 Days: Day 26

Here it is! After who knows how many clones (and probably a couple more coming) I broke out the real thing USA Kamp King today. Helped with food prep at camp, so got a bit of a patina. I rate it above the Irish ones in this style, but a bit below the Irish shadow pattern campers. This is the knife I'll always think of when someone says Scout/Camper, since it was the one I wanted as a scout when I was a kid.

Day 25

Received the MTO patches yesterday:

Day 26

My four electrician knives that predate the TL-29:

The Empire, Red Devil, and Xela knives (2nd, 3rd, and 4th from left) are like the original Signal Corp design (unlock screwdriver by depressing knife blade), whereas the Wilbert (bottom left) is a unique design.

I really recommend them.  Based on my sample size of one mind you but it has near perfect fit and finish and a lovely weighted pull to the blade.

The oldies, there is a slimline trapper bottom of the picture, that I'll take a photo of tomorrow, the action rubbish with no snap, but it is pushing 130 years old....so forgiven

Day 27

It was an absolute train wreck of a day, but I did manage to purchase more nicotine pouches. The action shots were a blurry mess, but I tested out the 99's can opener and awl on the seals.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

The can opener required two passes, but seemed to cut more cleanly. A thumbnail remains the best tool for that job.
