That's the second one during this challenge, geez Case needs to fix their glue. Anyway I usually use gorilla glue. (I love case knives, but I'll admit I've had quite a few fall off).

Day 27 of 30

Rolling some smoke through the big cooer today. My daughter requested pulled pork for her birthday party tomorrow.

( Don't worry, the picture is deceiving. The cooker is a safe distance from the house )

Day 28

The car's silly key fob will probably need a new battery soon. I used the 99's cap lifter to separate the case halves.

Am I the only one who thinks cars are better off without all that electronic bullsmurf?

Day 28 GEC

I have fallen for the great profile of this English Jack

Here laying across an old checker/chess board from my youth. Rescued from the trash at my mom’s house after a brother discarded.

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

30 Scouts in 30 Days: Day 27 and 28

Didn't get a chance to post this 1964 Imperial Demo knife I carried yesterday:

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

When I bought it, I thought the blade was just stuck, but the back spring is damaged (apparently common on these). I like the stud on the can opener at least.

And today, a Jr. scout with that cool old school can opener. It's obviously seen a lot of love, but the blade actually has a half decent edge on it.

I do love a traditional spearpoint.  It's what I had as my very first pocket knife (lost it as a child sadly but I do own a couple of replacements).

For no particular reason (and absolutely in no way riffing on SubMy's new knife) I've got my A. Wright Spearpoint with buffalo covers out for the day.

DAY 28

As promised a closer look at my Herbert Robinson slimline trapper, I really rate this knife, it's light and thin, but works so well....the closest I have found to this is the rough rider tooth pick....

How tiny?

And today, a Jr. scout with that cool old school can opener.
I'm not sure I've seen a Scout with tip bolsters and a long pull! :tu:

My most carried version of the rough rider the full sized tooth pick
I like a good medium or large toothpick, but can't carry them off my property. Stoopid restrictive local ordinance! :twak:

We're on track for another great day! :2tu:

Day 29

I discovered feline tooth marks in a bag of powdered milk. The main culprit is shown below.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Because cats are lactose-intolerant, I figured I'd better transfer the powdered milk to a more cat-resistant container. The 99 helped preserve the mixing instructions.
