Unfortunately I don´t have got a Hilti drill. I bought this one used from fleabay.  ;)

Again unfortunately my last order from this shop was a NIB Flair yesterday. After that I realized that I have bought 8 Leatherman within 6-8 weeks and that I seriously have to take a break now. Normally I buy about 2 goodies at the most a month.  :D

30,- € only for shipping is expensive, that is true.  ::) Next time I will ask the price for a package from Germany to Croatia at my local post office.  ;)

Lets see, all four stamps are 0298 but one is facing the other way, blade is chipped and the plier cutters have a couple tiny dents?

Here's a club that needs a bump I think.  I remember seeing these on the shelves when I got my first LM (Supertool) and thinking "Less tools and no nice leather sheath?  What's the point?"  It could be I was wrong to judge so quickly and, many years later, I got this one from Al.

Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Although I never carry the Sideclip I admire it :tu: I still have the one that got me into this Club as well :D If you pair it with a SAK that has scissors then you have a good urban EDC or pair it with a SAK with a saw and it turns into an outdoor EDC :o Either way a Sideclip beats a regular slippie hands down IMO :2tu:

My Sideclip and PST sheaths. You can see the bulge from the pocketclip, but I don't care.

Looking good.

I keep mine stored in a PST old school sheath as well and it works just fine for me as well

My original was bought at Kmart and then I snagged a couple during the first buy but sold one. Still have a spare just in case.

I had a Shiney Sideclip that I swapped Davek for a near mint Pulse with the old school leather sheath  I think we both ended up happy after that deal

Blimey this thread is still alive  :o

With both the group buys I must have had about 50 of those matte Sideclips pass through here, and I have only one left lol.

I might have another in the loft somewhere but I'm not 100% sure on that - there's a few tools missing that I'd intended to use as trade fodder, but I couldn't find them the other day when I looked.
I used to come here a lot.

The shiny ones were much rarer, at least they were on here after I flooded the matte market :D

G'Day,

I'm in too.

I am a little late with the pictures but have been a FAN since it came out. I have lost two, Sadly, but they were replaced with new ones. The polished one used to be MATT, but some time and Metal polish made it one of the best looking LM's I own.

Cheers,

Pete

I've got a Sideclip that could use some new parts.  Is there a Leatherman that can donate a knife, cap lifter, and possibly a pliers head with minimal work?
If my text is in blue, read it with sarcasm.  That is how it's meant!

From what I've learned so far (and someone who knows better, please correct me), PST/PST II tools drop in well.  The plier head, however, has a unique taper to it to accommodate a blade in that thin frame.  So it looks like a PST head, but without being tapered, it won't work in the Sideclip.
I made a "Sideclip X" a while back that added PST II scissors and a smaller flat driver, but I've sold it on so I can't take any more pics, sorry.

Edited to add: I believe a PST blade would need to be shortened to use in a Sideclip
