Nice one, Dan.  The challenge was fun.  I put on my pants and tied the shoestring with the MC to a belt loop every day.  Lots of mail opening and little piddly things.  Anything I did with the MC I could have done with a Classic.  Or an Esquire.
Didn't use the mini scoop, mini screwdriver, or mini measuring graduations for anything.  I have used the finger nicker or cut-n-picker or whatever the little sharpened hook is called before, but not this time.  I plan to join in on the Gas Station MRE challenge if it is held in February.  Need something to do in these cold months.  Best wishes.  G

Day 30

A reflection on all the implements I used this past month. Did not use the ruler or scalpel blade. Please that the cuticle pusher makes for a straight driver. Like the scissors and the little hook pocket/orange pealing gizmo and of course the main blade,  nail file and Phillips drive bit. I did not particularly like the bottle opening on the driver, though.  A little too finicky in my opinion. Oh, and I do like a pen and Tweezers when needed. All in all nice compact package. I still prefer the larger SaKs, though,  and cannot see myself carrying only this variant. YMMV.

Thanks for a great challenge!!

Day 30: this has been a good challenge! Carrying the minichamp is not super limiting day to day until you have a big task that needs doing. It is a very useful tool to have in the pocket. I did not keep a tally, but my most used implements were probably the blade, scissors, phillips, and pen, not counting the use of the spatula for hygiene uses.

 :hatsoff: to Gary!

A MiniChamp could serve a good many of my daily needs; I just prefer a longer knife. The combo tool is the clutch hitter. I still have a bottle of beer, and it should go away, so I may have to test out the cap lifting function.

Don't forget to apply for your new badges.  MC badge for those who qualify.  I got the <74mm badge that I asked for.  I woke up early this morning eager to make a post, then realized I didn't have reason.  I felt like digging out my old Stanley utility knife for that challenge today.  But I knew it would quickly become a bore for the better equipped members.  The SOG challenge with friend Barry hosting was also tempting.  I would like to do a challenge with Barry hosting.  Someday. No SOG here on Werecoyote Drive where I live.  Usually if I don't have something, I just make it.  I have a nice electric pencil/power scribe that I haven't used in a while.  Etching SOG on a Leatherman Wingman seemed a little excessive, not to mention rather permanent, so that idea went out the window.  Well, something will turn up.  Best wishes.  IMR

Day 30

Couple of days late with posting this — I’ve been totally slammed getting ready to go out of town for business. But my final day with the MC was spent tuning and tweaking lasers for holiday gifts. This one is a jigsaw puzzle for my wife made from a laser cut picture of our basset hound. I was using the MC to break apart some seams the laser didn’t quite completely cut.
