This happened 3 days or so ago. The plant is still actively spewing a large chemical plume, but the county  government claims the air is safe “between 7am and 7pm.” They are saying that they will likely not have the plume under control until the end of the week. Residents have potentially toxic ash and debris littering their yards, many have evacuated, many have stayed in place. People well outside the area have been reporting problems.

They're saying it should be safe between 7am and 7pm because wind direction is different during the day.  The problem is that I have never encountered a chemical plume that could tell time.

Something about some sort of weather ceiling that is lower at night.

They seem to be refusing to disclose all of the chemicals that were stored in that warehouse

That's heinous. Hope you're far enough away from it!

Fire Department is supposed to have that on file.  Check town, county, state secretary and federal filings for business licenses and such, too.

So it's out and there was no reflashing? That's a small amount of positivity.
