Day 23:

I'm really excited about sharing this.  One of the reasons that I was psyched about this Modular February Challenge is that I knew that it would force me to finish more of my ProLock mods.  Unfortunately I didn't get to all of them, but I did some.

I wanted a tool insert that would have one of those bit drivers that house a double ended hex collar that fits 2 double ended bits.  (one on either end)  just like the Shrade  ST5E and the Blackfire MT.  I was able to get all the doner parts that I needed from a Milwaukee screw driver that they sell at Home Depot.  Then I welded the marlin spike from a British Army knife to the end of one of the hex collars.  This way it is much more sturdy in use than it would be if I had just made it into a bit.  If I carry the 2 collars in the sheath with the tool, I can have the marlin spike and 6 bits.

I haven't had time to polish it yet,  still looks dirty.

There is a funny thing i did had today on the Flex Plier: I did try to use the Plier to install some new Staplerneedles to our Stabler where the "Magazine" they came delievered where "Broken", so i did try to catch it whit the Plier and release it in the Stapler "Magazine" ..
But quess what? It did stick to the Plier Head : Seems like the Foldout Ruler/Magnet thing did Magnetise the Plier just by laying near together when the Tool is closed .. ^^

You’ve got to have a huge pair of cajones to drink something called Grandpa Joe’s Hot Dog Water. Respect for taking one for the team!    :hatsoff:

:rofl:Some beers do have some pretty bad names, but can be real good

One of my favorite beers was called “Old Engine Oil”.  I haven’t had it in a long time because the only shop that sold it closed.

Day 24 (Viengt -Quatre) (I’m happy that February only contains viengt-huit days this year, I’m not that far whit French numbers , I would not know how to say day 383 .. (droix -mile-quatre-viengt-droix?? ) , it’s just an extra challenge for me as I’m now learning French in my old days (40) )

Did use the Comp today and did rethink my Modular Tool Pocket Carry Setup: at first I wanted only to carry the Pliers all the day and keep the Companion in my Backpack, in fact whit boot I carry 4 MT actually (Flex Plier, Flex Companion, Vic Minichamp and Pioneer Alox (it’s just lot more chique than the Plastic Bomber Huntsman, and as I have also an Woodsaw and an Hook on the Flex Plier, the only tool I would miss where the korkscrew (it is not available to buy in Germany and I don’t need it anyway) )

So I have the Companion equipped whit the stuff I need most: chisel, packet opener, Comp, and the Phillips Screwdriver as some of the Mini Bits are not in my pocket 1/4 inch bit set ..

The Plier got equipped whit all the other stuff scale tool holder for the sewing needle (I have the tweezers allready on the Mini Champ,) the woodsaw and the file, hook blade, hook, ruler, Marlin Spike..

Day 25

Welcome to Wisconsin! Last week, temps got down to double digits below zero every night, and highs were barely above zero. Snowmobiles and cars all over the lake. Today got up to 43 degrees. What a difference a week makes!

Good Morning PA. The small scissors are about the only accessory I haven't tried on the ROXON. How are they?

Day 25 (Vignt-Sinc ) I did only use the Package Opener today, it’s also cuts Panzer Tape, which might get handy some time..
I did rearrange it again, and did by taktical rearrange of my EDC Pouch found a way to carry the Companion inklusive Bits, and did Shovel some space free for the Retroid Pocket Flip2 I will get me next month ..
Even though there is this Scale Tool Holder, i did decide to carry an independent sewing kit out of this needle tube and 2 rolls of sewing thread.. this way I have the tweezer only twice as I have also an Minichamp on my keyring ..

As this is soon going to finish, do not worry about finishing this challenge and starting another. February is short so some overlap into March is allowed.
Post your Day 29 and Day 30 pics on March 1st and 2nd, even if you are starting another challenge on March 1st. It's fine.
