Thanks VICMAN!
I really love my Leatherman's but nothing beats my  :climber: (VIC) scissors and the Compact is the most compact and useful VIC for me because I always have a Leatherman beside that and I don't need a lot of tools from my VIC except the scissors and the toothpick.

You are welcome, mvp!

The Leatherman and Vic Compact make a great duo! :)

Day 1 - I caught my “stonewashed” black oxide ‘93 PST in the process of procuring a pocket clip off of my half polished Sideclip. The PSTII in the pic wasn't safe either. I’m not exactly sure how I’ll mount the clip yet but I’ll figure it out

Day 1 of 30

Today bit lazy day with PST2, used scissors to trim beard. Otherwise it just hanged along.

Thanks, VICMAN! :hatsoff: Unfortunately, it does have one not-so-great feature, which y'awl will see later on.

A great Day 1! :2tu:

All that’s left to do is add the pocket clip now. I’ll try carrying it in this pouch for the time being.  It’s a black oxide pst with pst2 internals. I kept the black blade to give it an Arc vibe and because I prefer straight edge blades. It looks like the previous owner sharpened it using their concrete driveway. I sharpened it up on my WorkSharp so it’s  nice and edgy.  The pouch is an Alpaka Hub Pouch and also carries the full bit set, sharpie, pen refill, golf pencil, knipex wrench and Leatherman’s Tool Adapter. Fits in the pocket well and the zipper keeps it all from falling out

And here we go   :woohoo:

Day 1

My first Leatherman, bought back in the early 1990's and carried daily for work for 20 years  :tu:

Still going strong after a bit of    PST Rehab

If only I could replace my worn out parts, then I could be going as strong as your PST  :D

Day 1:

I have a modest PST collection by some standards here :nanadance:

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

Top row L to R: '94 user, '94 Marlboro user, pre-'92 date code (probably 90-92), '94 Marlboro, limited edition 2018,

Bottom row L to R: two Japanese models one with Japan tang stamp, '97 PSTII but unmarked handle, '02 PSTII with manufacturer error unground can opener.

All but one has what I hope/assume is the original case.

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

I'm going to try to carry each one of these during this challenge.  I'm primarily trying to use my Minichamp as I'm participating that challenge, but these PSTs will serve as compliments when I inevitably need a pair of pliers.

Looks like a very nice collection to me, G_B  :like:

The PST reminds me in many ways of the original VW Beetle.  To the casual observer it looks unchanged from beginning to end.  Looking closely, I don't know if any part of it wasn't modified over the years for various reasons.
