Day 2 of 30
Today was the actual party after my kid baptism, very busy day with little time for photos and use of the tool. This is the only photo I managed to take when I cut some zip ties.

It is an Irwin Vise Grip tool that was sold several years back  I had added a link to a thread where Sam (awesome modder here on MTO) had done the very same thing a few years back :salute: I just copied him :D

Thought I had added a link to the thread several pages ago  I hadn't   here it is

I see you wasted no time in copying Sam's mod:

My boy was probably pretty confused what’s hapenning because he is only 3 months old, but his big sister who has 1 year and 10 months was relly happy off all the people she can play with, with all the halloween decor for pictures and everything! I think it will be off-topic to post any picture from the party without a multitool in the picture! 🫣😅

That's a beautiful car Lisa!  I wish I had taken some pics of mine.  My Dad was an aircraft mechanic and knew his way around the air cooled engines like the old flat 4.  I picked up on it and, together with John Muir's Idiot Manual, spent years in air cooled Beetles and Buses.  My last air cooled model was a '71 Westphalia camper I drove from Olympia Washington to Pennsylvania.  I don't think I'd have any problems doing maintenance with a PST  :D
I miss my 1968 Beetle, my first car.  My actual VW seen below.
Barry

Here is a picture of my original Leatherman Pocket Survival Tool with a page from the 1983 Early Winters Catalog.

The Catalog had the Pocket Survival Tool priced at $45.00 and the sheath was $3.95.

Day 3

Not expecting much action for the pst as anticipating most work is to sort and unpacking stuffs. Photo 1 shot when having breakfast.

Photo 2 and 3 shot when using a Jig Saw for the first time, cutting up a board salvaged from old disassembled furniture at old home for used as a n extra shelving board in a cabinet in kitchen.
