Somewhere I read that this is the way the tools were meant to be used Dan.  I don't know if that's correct.  I hope your evening gets better!

Day 3 - I think I’m done modifying it. I’m going to call it a PCST2 which is short for Pocket Clip Survival Tool 2 since it now has parts from a PST, PST2 and a Sideclip.

Todays action photo is from putting the Sideclip back together.

Nicely done, grouch!

2024 Legendary PST Challenge
Day 4 of 30

Earbud repair. One side quit charging. Seems one of the brass pins got pushed in and wasn't sticking up far enough to make contact. SideClip was perfect for pulling it back out and we are now charging once again.

Great use GA1dad! :like: :tu: :tu:

Day 4

I removed this PST from the display case for a photo, as most of the early posts this month were of the Japan versions, I have only one with rivets.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 4

Used the flathead to open up the belt compartment on this Shark sweeper to get it unstuck and the pliers to clean hair of the sweeper head.

 Thank you Vicman,  :hatsoff:

Great use Steve, the large flat blade is so handy to open those latch screws.   I can grab any  of my PSTs, Rebars or Says and that blade will do the job ,  Then inverting the knife blade and run along the beater brush roller to cut away threads or hair. Even the awl can remove grime from the roller pivots.

The PERFECT TOOL!

Day 4 of 30

Really liking the new additions to the PST 1.5, so far :salute:

I am really digging the pocket clip on this thing and the blade deploys well and after a bit of sharpening, the blade is sharp now :o :D

I have the Executive with me out of habit
