Carrying the ‘97 PSTII today with 11/97 and 12/97 date codes.  This one doesn’t have PSTII stamped on the handles.

This is the second PST I purchased when I really got into MTs just a few years ago. Purchased it only a few months after the ‘94 PST thinking I might like the scissors. Realistically I use both the awl and scissors equally and could probably lose the smallest flat head.  I may replace it at some point. 

Complimenting the MC today so we will again see what kind of use.  I’m putting up some weather stripping so we’ll see how well the MC does there.

Day 8



Started a little late backpacking in to my campsite.  :twak:

But 4 miles later and over a 1000 feet in eleation later. I made it. One of the only ones out this weekend. It's winter but this is california so it's not actually cold.



Here it is helping open up some ramen for dinner. I usually prefer soups, and mash potatoes while hiking, but this was a spur of the moment trip.

Not my favorite camp ground. No water here so you have to pack it all in with you.
