Replacing scissors on SOG Sync 2?

Hi, I would like to replace the scissors in my SOG Sync 2 with a thicker blade. The existing blade cuts well, but I am concerned about using it to cut heavier materials. The scissors are useless 🙂 . I am looking for a blade that has a spine width between 2.4-2.5 mm and similar dimensions to this picture. Anyone have suggestions? Is there something that would be a straight forward mod? Or is this going to be a major challenge? Really appreciate any thoughts - thanks!

Sorry, no suggestions for the blade, but would you sell the scissors?
