Day 17

So, I started to type this post out last night. As I was typing the wife and our two sons came home and I got distracted with family stuff.

Continued on with more trim work after work this afternoon. Today was one step forward and one step back. So, the trim I have been installing is leftover trim I bought at least ten years ago when I redid the family room trim. I had four ten foot sticks left and I installed those to use them up. I had a section in the dining room that I needed to finish since I ran out of the old trim there on Wednesday. So I cut a new piece of molding I picked up on Thursday and the thickness and the profile is ever so slightly different. I am going to have to pull off one nine foot section of the old molding and install a new section.

Aside from the one setback, I was able to install and putty all the molding in the living room last.

Day 18

Recently had blinds installed that collapse from either top/down or bottom/up.  Never knew how much I'd like them.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Day 18

Bond was utilized in the kitchen today preparing my late lunch.

The pliers used to separate a package seal on the bologna,  then to grab the one side of a zip seal on my cheese bag,

The again the pliers help lift the press on pie lid from a Marie Calendar Lemon Mariegne pie.

The pliers are a valued extension of my not so mumbled fingers these days.

Also, assisted in opening a security sealed bottle first thing.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

This are nice! 😉

My daughter has this style installed in her home. And she has a lot of windows. No strings or ropes is a big plus.

Enjoy😎

Day 18

Removed the floor molding in the dining room and installed new trim. Then caulked all the floor molding in the living room, dining room, and hallway. Then went for a walk around the lake (about three and a half to four miles or so). It was nice to get out and enjoy the day. When I got back in, I sanded the floor molding in the family room and dining room.

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.
