Day 19

Here's the Bond's blade compared to one of my favorite slipjoint's blade.  Different shapes and different steel, but both do a cut-up job!  (Image removed from quote.)

(Image removed from quote.)

I wonder if anyone has tried to put this new blade style in a Rebar yet  I need to track one down to see if they fit, if not :ahhh cause I do like the newer blade on the Bond vs the Rebar blade :dd: :like:

DAY 20

The Bond with my insulated mittens.

We need to see video of you opening your Bond blade wearing the mittens!

Day 20

Proof that the best tool is the one you have with you.

Did a rare thing today, stopped a vehicle on the road to access the CCTV hard drive. We normally wait until they’re in for the night, but needed this one in a hurry.

The system should have been secured inside a locker with a key, which I had, but turned out to be behind a panel that needed a T key. Drat!

The file of the Bond got the job done and avoided any embarrassment.

Day 20

Extracting BOND from my pocket, it slipped and fell.

It look interesting

Then forgot why I intended to use it, darn it.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

I don't have a video camera, but with the long opening for the blade on the Bond there was enough give in the leather of the mitten thumb to get my fingernail into the notch on the blade to start it opening and then I just grabbed the blade to open it the rest of the way. :)

Well done!!

Thank you, Barry! :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

That long opening and slot for the blade really makes a difference when using gloves or mittens. :)

I know!    Be a good day to be on the ice, fishing and listening to the lake making ice.  Greatest sensation is  a pressure crack slicing right under your bucket!💙

Good memories every Saturday with my dad!  Blue gill slabs💙💙🌹
