What I initially bought as a"sheath and bit kit with a free tool", has become in another tool for the collection: [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
After watching/exploring it once it arrived, decided to thoroughly clean it and oil it, and look at it a bit more in depth; my opinion following next.
Mine has the satin silver finish, similar to the one done by Gerber on their MP's and CD's, in all of the tool including the implements. As SOG tools are, this one is a smooth opening one, from the pliers deployment and use as well as all implements.
Has the superbe "compound pliers design", which I find great to hold on tight and effective on bolts/nuts/stuff easily for up to 1" O.D., has a hard wire notch, and the very functional pommel/bit driver when pliers are retracted. Although not as pointy as my Powerlocks 2.0's, they can still be considered needlenose and do a good job at that. Cutters appear to be regular SOG affair.
Has a nice array of implements including: plain and serrated blades, double and single cut file, with metal cutting edge; wood saw blade, reamer/awl, chisel, mini/eyeglass/jeweler's screwdriver, can opener/small flat driver combo tool, medium flat driver/bottle opener combo tool, a full-head Phillips driver, their socket driver adapter, inch/cm rulers, a protractor, and an external lanyard ring. Oooh, and all implements are "outside" accessible, and all lock!

The sheath is nylon, and is PALS/MOLLE adaptable, with a snap strap already attached. Comes with a "side/bit pocket" and the primary pocket is big enough that you could fit in the tool and kit, and use the side pocket for something else, perhaps a torch. The bit kit is standard SOG (discontinued BTW, that's what prompted this buy), but includes an extra holder as cover/lid for the kit itself.
However good it appears, I have some nitpicks; the awl is not as "wicked" as the Powerlock's, has no scissors, and the jeweler's driver doesn't fit in my eyeglasses. The handles, being two pieces of flat bar joined together at the pivots and a spacer bar, can be easily torque twisted when used hard. Even though it is the same chassis as the PowerAccess, it doesn't come with the pocket clip (although deep in my heart I prefer it clipless, as the clip looks more as an SOG bilboard and looks uncomfortable to handle with its texture, perhaps if it were just a plain one...).
Overall, appears to be a good, light to medium duty tool to me bit, anybody else have one; what are your thoughts?
