After almost 30 years on the internet, someone has finally managed to offend me.

On a comic book group I don’t belong to, someone posted that they bought Satriani’s Surfing With The Alien album for the cover art and they have no interest in listening to it.

Seriously?

Joe Satriani is a musical genius and every song on this album proves it.  It’s worth it just for Always With Me, Always With You, and the title track will blow anyone away.

If you aren’t familiar with this album or this artist, do yourself a favour and listen to them on whatever musical service you prefer.

You can thank me later.

I bought the album in the early 90's, when it was heavily rotated as jingle on Superchannel TV or something like that, generally associated with extreme sports.
I have then bought a couple of other albums from him, Blue Dream and the double album Time Machine: Satch is an axe master for sure  :tu:
