I will try it for a few days and see how it goes.  I could always assemble another keychain pliers tool.... I have plenty of duct tape left and found a rubber band in W-Mart parking lot yestiddy......?
Best wishes.  Gary

There are some challenges that I can see myself recycling the same photos over and over.
Keychain pliers are a prime example. Great to have around but not used on a daily basis.
Addicted to sharp pointy things.

Nothing wrong with that.  Don't forget the "vanity pics"

I mainly use the scissors and blade on mine.  A good bit of my uses aren't even remotely exciting, like opening instant coffee packets and snacks.

This message to directed to GARY -

You know, or should, we do come into a challenge with plans to share pictures daily for thirty days in a row. And, we politely look and comment then move off until another day.

But, it your commentary that keeps us anticipating our visit! :woohoo:     And, why we linger.

What wisdom will the NORTH CAROLINA WEED WACKER , Raccoon whisperer  share today!

That is what makes a challenge special, your contributions my friend.  Awl from your corner of green.

The reason to rise and see what is happening in GARY’s world.

If I was you, ask Barry for TOP BILLING!
Price for admission is a picture of a keychain plier tool…
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Please, no top billing.  I had so many bills already this month I have been reduced to eating peanut butter every day.  The cheap kind, not the good stuff.  Best wishes, G

If I integrate too many tools, I will have to use my galluses to keep my britches up.  Friend Gra had so many things on his Batman Utility Belt this month that he probably has to hold up his troosies with both hands.  I was wearing elastic suspenders in a W-Mart, of all places, and a female store employee started saying she was going to snap my elastics for me.  I thought of saying that two could play that game, but she was probably a married lady.  W-Mart, please put in your employee guide book that it is considered ill mannered to tug on a customer's clothes.  Especially since there is always a possibility that she could pull the supportive garment loose from its tenuous grip leading to the downfall of Jeans.  Possibly with no underwear.
Best wishes.  G

It's hard to wear more than three tools on the belt....my cheeks were on show more than I wanted on a few occasions

From your description Gary, I sooo need to move to the US, the closest I get to inappropriate behaviour from the fair sex are granny's hitting the backs of my legs with a shopping trolley, as I stopped for a nano second to consider my life choices and what condiments should go with them....

Most of the female wackiness I experience is in W-Mart for some reason.  I was using the self-checker and felt someone was standing right beside me.  Young female employee looking at me wide-eyed.  I said, "Hello" in my Hyacinth Bucket voice.  She answered and kept staring.  I wondered whether I resembled her poor old dead Grandpa, or maybe she thought I was stealing stuff.  Best wishes.  G

To make things a bit more lively this challenge, I'm going to borrow a great idea from Gary's Anniversary Challenge and have a mini challenge at least weekly.  I'm wide open to ideas so please let me know.

Day 0

Just pulled the little Dime from the package. I figured I had better get acquainted with the tool I would be carrying for the month. Seems to be a neat little design.

It certainly is.  We had a run of rain here not long ago that seemed to never end.

Nice kick off for our Challenge Echotech!

Day 1 ( a few minutes early).

Tried the wire cutters on some weed eater cord.  They failed.  I've tried wire before with similar results.     I didn't expect much from what I've read about the cutters, but trimmer cord shouldn't be too much.

I bought a DIME at Menards a few years ago, maybe 10 or 12 dollars.
NEver got out of the parking lot.
Got to the van (work). Freed it from the package. Inspected it, and went back into the store to return it!
Got my money back.
I was not impressed!

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I am up yet!

Day 1

My line up for this challenge, 4 tools.
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

SOG PLIER TOOL
2 - LM PS models.   I bought the Red one, the day I heard the PS was to be discontinued.
A  MICRA, look alike, with fine needle nose pliers by Sheffield (China). Found in a Pawn Shop 8 years ago, or so.

I will not place on a key ring, I trade off vehicles. One is FOB based, so these will be carried in a wallet. O

I'm offering a recycled pic, from day 31, of the Anniversary Challenge.  Seemed fitting that I close one challenge out and be able to start the next with the same pic.
I hope everyone else has a better imagination than I do.

Day 1

Swiss+Tech with my nice, never used keychain.  The key ring/fob thing was a gift from a friend here on MTo.  I like it.  This was a good place to break it in a little.
I mentioned paying some nominal amount for my little mini plier, and what a good investment that turned out to be.  I looked on Azamov
just to see if they were still available, and what a surprise.  Not only did they have them for sale, but the price had risen to $27.99!  I checked the picture?  Yeah, that's the item.
I wish I had bought some more of these things when W-Mart had them on the close out rack for $2.  I looked for more at the time, but that was the only one in the place.
Then I looked for them on another site.  Home Despot, or something.  $4.98.  That sounded more realistic.  More power to the big company if they can get $28 for some of them.  If they sell out, they can get more for $4.98, or more likely as many as they want for a buck each from China.
Internet problems this morning.  It rained hard yesterday.  That's good and all, but will likely call for more lawn mowing next week.
Best wishes.  G
