Day 21
Decided to try the Milwaukee. While it is superior as a bit driver to the Craftsman box wrench, I don't think it will replace it in my edc. The main reasons bieng that it's head is twice as thick, and for how things arange in my edc organizer the Craftsman's flatness wins.
I am however thinking of using it in a rebuild of the larger tool kit that lives in my backpack

Need to play with it more to decide.
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
But for now I'm just a lost jack of trades with neither mastery nor home. ~NoaIsumi

Day 23

Wiha 8 in 1.
I love this. The extension comes off and it has a ball bearing so it can be used with the PocketWrench etc. And the handle can drive bits kinda like a stubby.
8 bits in the handle. Excellent in hand. This was in Amazon US for $20, and then it vanished. Not only out of stock. The listing has been removed completely.

That’s odd. What makes it so picky?

0.002"

The bits that came with it and the Craftsman socket bits measure 0.247"
Most 1/4" bits are 0.249-0.250"

I could run a file over the flats on bits to make them fit, but do I want to?  Maybe I'll try one for science.

Thanks folks for all the camaraderie.  I must withdraw due to family issues.  It has been a good time, and I have enjoyed seeing the group’s collection of ratchets.

Looks good! :tu: I thought about getting a small display case, but ruled it out for now.

I must withdraw due to family issues.
Sorry to hear that. Hope everything works out in your favor.

DAY 23

I'll need to do a catch-up post for yesterday (22nd) as I was called in to work to help with the fallout of Heathrow falling over *  ::)

I went to work for 5am and didn't get back until about midnight  :ahhh

I'm off today but still a bit out of sorts  ::)

I tried the ol' school LM bits and they fit perfectly (much better than the new ones  :dunno:

* Sorry forgot to add the link for those living under a rock

DAY 23  Proof of the Fiskars undersize bits.  I ran a file across some Craftsman bits thinking I could save them a bit, but they seem too hard.

With such a shift, that's understandable. I've heard it could take Heathrow at least a week to get back to 100%.

I have the Leatherman Ratchet Driver with me today...
You can put a handle on the Leatherman ratchet driver? Is that a Leatherman item or something you sourced on your own?

Day 24

Sharden ratchet set. Kinda bad. The Allen #4 bit does not fit in Allen #4 screws. The bits don't lock in the locking extension because the retention notches in the bits are not deep enough. It works ok I guess.

I only have the first socket. I need the long shaft with all four sockets, or at least three. But Metric ones.
And the Milwaukee ratchet. I will hold it in my hands soon. I'm coming for you, Milwaukee. You can run, but you cannot hide. :viking:

Day 24
Couple of torque wrenches, a beam type and a ratcheting clicker.
I don't do much that needs a torque check anymore so these 2 almost never get out (can probably count the clicker's uses on 1 hand)
