Issues with posting images and getting logged out

Lately I cannot post with images and it says the file was too large or took too long. I am also being logged out repeatedly. This has not been an issue except for the last few days. Any ideas?

This site has been wonky for about three days now.  SAKwiki has been down.  I couldn't do a post one time like you described.  Almost sprained my thinker trying to remember what lies I had written the first time.  Whole site was down about 5AM this morning for a while and has been sporadic for the aforementioned three-day period.  Best wishes.  G

We have been experiencing some server and software issues and that has resulted in some down time.

It looks like we have most of it sorted now (and by "we" I mean Micah, who has given up his whole weekend to get it done) and we shouldn't be seeing any other interruptions.

We would have tried to give you all a heads up, but things went south before we had the chance.

Please make sure to let us know what problems you may still be encountering as we (again, Micah) gets everything pieced back together.

I doubt that Tapatalk wont do anything about it, since Tapatalk started acting weirdly i moved using mobile site and laptop to view forum

You can use a photo host site like imgur or Postimages. If you want to attach them you can save the picture to your computer and then attach them directly. The forum resizes but sometimes it won't if they are too big. On mobile you usually need to resize the picture before attaching.

Have you tried resize picture smaller?

I tried adding them. The forum just keeps giving errors. I don’t want to use external websites.

also, what is the actual resolution/filesize of the photo?

for example:
HD: 1280 x 720 pixels;
Full HD: 1920 x 1080 pixels;
2K: 2048 x 1080 pixels;
4K or Ultra HD: 3840 x 2160 pixels;
8K: 7680 x 4320 pixels;
10K: 10240 x 4320 pixels.

anything over FullHD quality is lost on the forum, like 60% of a 10K resolution image is still 3x more than the maximum it should be...

There are tons of tools and websites that will resize down to a reasonable filesize/resolution.
