Day 9: Nothing exciting yet.  Cut a can holder apart.  Signal didn't even work up a sweat!

Thanks gents!  Out for a hike today!

Hope a great day for a hike!

I yet love the COLOR (aqua w/black tools) your Signal sports.

Tempted, but now understand why, I like yours, but when I look at buying one, I just don’t, because the store model has tools in natural finish, DUH!

Me, Saturday was travel day, arrived home after the storm. ICE, ICE, and more ICE 😜

Keep up the superb effort.  I have been enjoying your use and hints.

Stay safe!   Winter is here for a few more weeks.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Thanks Gordon!  We had the same weather here.  I was supposed to be somewhere too, and we decided to cancel because of that ice.  Be safe my friend!

Thanks Vicman!  :hatsoff:  I have come close to losing a knife or two setting up later in the day.  Nowadays, I don't lay them down, but a bright color or lanyard sure helps. The Swiss knew what they were doing with red scales    :D

The Aqua definitely beats the Topo Green in this sort of test  :D

I normally do not buy green.

Yet, the Topo, could find its way to my address, but only to be on dispaly.  Not for use. It is unique!!!

Congratulations on the challenge, Barry, as it is coming along really nice; love the pictures and, alas, will not know how chill it might be there as temperatures here are hovering already the 84°-86°F/29°-30°C!

Although I do like the green/Topo, I prefer the coyote tan BUT, that one's for urban outings/tacti mall ninja; for outdoors, it's my aqua/Robbin's Egg or cobalt blue (albeit having to return the cb back to bladeless mode for work carry) ones 'cause of "loss prevention"! :D

I'll trade you weather Juan!  Thanks, it's been a fun one.  I haven't done a solo challenge in years, so it's definitely different.  I love being able to see how everyone else is doing.  I like that you can swap out that blade without a lot of fuss!  I love the mods you've done on yours.  Before I got mine from Farmer X, I read all the Signal challenges and reviews and saw what you did with yours.  I can see a coyote tan and a green topic in my future  :D

Day 11: Putting the Signal's hammer to use.  My tent pegs were packed away so I used a peg for an outdoor kennel.  It worked well!  I've used a Bear Grylls knife to do this when I was out camping, but the body of the Signal works a lot better, as well as it's length.

^. Ground not frozen in Pennsylvania???

That feature of the Signal is the most unique! And practical for camping and hiking.

Even though a rock will also do the task equally well🙄
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Oh definitely frozen!  I was surprised that it went in as well as it did.   My experience has been good luck finding anything that's remotely close to the size you could use to pound anything in
