Look at all those blue berries!  I just picked up some for us, too.

Powernoodle Day 13

Glamour shot, as I sadly had no ARC uses today.  The G10 on the new Cold Steel products is noticeably smoother than the older models.  Unfortunately.  But at least I don't have to sand under the clip like I used to.

That's a gorgeous knife PN.  I've been a Cold Steel fan for a long time.

Day 13

Decided to take a break from working on the house today, so the Arc pretty much just hung out with me today. Did pick up a couple of rebranded SOG PPPs today. One is a Harley Davidson Motortool and the other is a Stanley MaxEdge.

New tool day today, and it’s a good one!

Almost unbelievably, I started talking to the US owner of this one very late on Monday night (UK time), and it’s just arrived now, less than four and a half days later.

It’s a very low serial number, but that’s not going to save it from being a regular carry tool.

And yes, of course I opened the box with an Arc.

For the high-demand Garage offerings, don't they now limit it to 1 per person?  For the first 2 offerings, it was either 2 per person or no limit.

I was able to score the first 2 offerings, and then got butt-hurt when I did everything I could to get the Garage #5 40th Anniversary edition but crashed and burned.

 :ahhh

This is temporarily turning into a Garage thread, but that's okay because I started it.   :woohoo:

Day 14

Thanks Barry and Adam.  :hatsoff:

Congrats Crunchie on the new Mr. chrunch.  :tu:

Happy Free Friday! Started in on refinishing the mantle in the living room today. Got all the old finish sanded off. Ended up buggering up the wall I freshly painted a couple of weeks ago. Will fix that tomorrow. Just waiting on the wife now to decide how she wants the mantle finished.

Powernoodle Day 15

I deconstructed quite a bit of cardboard and Styrofoam.  Started with the ARC, finished with a Stanley utility knife.

Day 15

Got all of the furniture moved out of the family room. Started in on drywall repairs. Will sand and prep for primer in the morning. Wife is in the process of sorting all of the items from the cabinets we moved into the garage. Hope to get most of that taken care of tomorrow afternoon and what we don’t want to keep off to habitat for humanity and goodwill. It is amazing how much stuff one can accumulate in 20 years.

We are in the slow process of moving after 31 years in the same house - so I can relate.  Moving is an opportunity to lose 70% of your possessions, which is not a bad thing.

Powernoodle Day 16

ARC diamond-coated file.  I've investigated how Leatherman does this dark magic, and it appears to be an electroplating process.

The diamond file cuts on both the push and pulls strokes.  A regular file primarily only in one direction.  The Powernoodle Thumb Test on the ARC file proves this to be true.
