Wuben E7

Another one I got during an Amazon sale.
Same interface as my Wurkkos FC11. And in dark green.
Angle light, quite powerful for its size, 1200 lumen Max I think.

just got my first Wuben  :salute: The rechargeable green G5 and is it sweet! So many features for such a good price (got mine for 19.99 U.S.D.)
Comes with Dual LED, 180 degree turning head light-cool white and RGB (7 colors), adjustable 3-way clip for pockets or hat-brim and my favorite feature a rotary wheel to adjust the light intensity from 10-400 Lumens. Also has a magnetic base to stick it down I just wish it were a stronger magnet but it works.

I love the size but it is a little too big for a key-chain imo but it could work but for me it's n pocket or clipped on a pocket (and remember the clip easily moves 3 ways: right-side, left-side, front-side), it's made well (solid) and really good features and the price! I think you'll like it  :tu:

judge others by how they treat those they are allowed to mistreat

How do you find the E7? I am quite intrigued by it but have heard mixed reports. I like the idea of the extension dude to give longer running time.

I like it. It's a nice size, I like the clip orientation. I don't have the extension but as is it's perfectly fine. Easy UI, bright, and small. And it was only $30 AUD I think.

Thanks, I have been looking at it and quite fancy one.  I liked the option of having it with the smaller cell or using the extension for greater run time. I think I may get my wallet out and order one  :salute:

Finally, a club I can join!

Despite all of the usability issues I have with the G5 it is the light that goes everywhere with me in my Maxpedition organizer.  I hate the extra steps needed to make light come out of the end, but I really do like the extremely versatile form factor.

That E7 looks interesting- I may have to try one of those out.  The price certainly seems interesting if nothing else.

Wuben keeps trying to push me into buying the X4- if (when) I break down and get it maybe I'll add the E7 to the cart too.

Is that really as good as they say? Do I need one? I do, right? :pok:

Honestly, it's a fun light if you want to confuse people.

If you are a person that thinks that a flashlight should just work with a minimum of smurfing around then I'd say steer clear.

Wuben sheath. Didn't fit my Wuben C3 and Wurkkos FC11 with the little velcro it had. Too loose. I wanted the lights to be a little tighter in there.
So I added two snap buttons.

Hey I got one of these little guys too!

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

For $20 it’s a good light.

The size and shape is great for me.  It slips well into any pocket without bulging out and I’ve sat on it may times in my back pocket without noticing it’s there.  The side button took some time to get used to and it still takes me a minute to find the correct side sometimes.

I really like the brightness wheel.  I do wish it had a moonlight low brightness like my Olight Baton.  The low light setting is very helpful at night when I need just the smallest bit of illumination in the kids’ room in the middle of the night.

The color hue options are OK. I haven’t thought of a way to use them in any useful way.  It’s more of a gimmick my kids play with.

I appreciate the magnet base. It’s strong enough and I’ve used it with the rotating torch a number of times.

The pocket clip is a bit lacking. It isn’t tight enough to hold in my pants or shirt pocket and has come off a lot.

Charging over USB-C is nice. I have a number of those around the house and in the car and can get a quick charge or top off.  The battery doesn’t last long at full brightness, but unless I have it fully illuminated for a long period of work it has lasted several days without needing to charge. I haven’t formally timed anything.  I do like the slide lock, however, the lock does move a little too easily in use and I’ve accidentally turned off the light several times while using it.

The metal housing appears to hold up to drops. I’ve dropped it a few times from about 4ft onto concrete and it’s only scratched.  I do worry it is too heavy towards the torch and if it hits the ground on the plastic covering that will likely easily crack.

I almost bought the 2-pack. I might end up getting a couple for my kids. They have used this light much more frequently than my others or their own Olight i3T and minis. The button and wheel are easy enough for small kids to figure out and use compared to the olight buttons and rotating on/off.

I think I just found the best computer desktop flashlight companion, the Wuben X4.

The Wuben G5 is really small and does not like to stand up vertically. The X4 fixes all of that and provides a great tail switch that can be either on/off. or continuous press for on  / release for off.

It is complicated like the G5 to operate. Has a nice all metal construction weight to it, Perfect for my needs.
