Day 13

Used my Exotac Nanostriker XL to start up the grill this evening for dinner.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

Yes, I know 😳. A 110 peeling a Halo is a tad excessive!

But, it got the job done😁
A big knife can do anything a smaller knife can do, but the reverse isn’t necessarily true.

Don’t believe me?  Come take the Giants of June Challenge and find out:

@AzteCypher: looks like a handy little thing. A more substantial ferro rod is something I should purchase this year.

@Echotech: :like: My Dad used to carry a Stanley thermos with that green hammer-tone finish.

@LoopCutter: the Signal is lookin' good! :tu:

@BPRoberts: I'd like to go back to a DE safety razor. Constantly being in a rush is really the only thing stopping me.

Another great day, y'awl!

Day 14

It was a somewhat busy day for Team Green. The Classic SD removed tags from yet another new T-shirt (which happens to be green). Please excuse the wrinkles, as the photo was shot before the T-shirt's initial wash.

And the Opinel was used to open another package. The contents of this one are much more interesting.

Here's a little preview. The item is shown elsewhere in General Tool Discussion.

I'd love to go back in time and order up a '72 K/5 Blazer. It would be spec'd out with a 350, 4-speed manual, power steering, tachometer, and CST trim (even better if they let me go with rubber floor covering). A lot of hemming and hawing would be done over paint color selection, but the interior would be black.

Culling of the knife and multi herds in progress...

If I pay five figures for something, it better have wings or a foundation!

Wholeheartedly agree.  I have an 86 K5 Blazer sitting in my sisters garage waiting for me to make time to bring home so I can work on it.

Day 14

I didn't do too badly with the Vic can opener but I still do much better with the Wenger one.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

You could awlways donate it to me. :pok: :D On a more serious note, I heard your area was disgustingly (and potentially unsafely) hot today. Hope y'awl managed to stay cool.
