Thank you, it may just be the new variation for SMKW. More blue hue to it.

Day 18
Carrying two Opinel No.8s today.  The one with the spearpoint blade, and purple, tapered handle is the garden knife, and the other is a standard No. 8 in wine barrel oak.  I'd forgotten what a pleasure these are to carry.  They are so lightweight you don't even feel them in your pockets.

Day 18

Still plugging away with the little knife that could. The patina on the main blade looks like it is evening out a little more with use. To be honest, I have never done anything to the blade except sharpen it occasionally. Also decided to carry the Kershaw today. Still getting use to the bearing detent on this knife. So far, it feels like a quality U.S. made knife with CPM154 for $75 or so.

Day 18

Tuna Valley Railsplitter

154CM, nickel silver bolsters and liners (a nice touch; I prefer them over brass liners), and possibly elk antler (but could be stag)

Imperial soddy reclines on my Suzuki DR650, overlooking the Tennessee River as a tug goes by pushing its load of barges.

Day 17

Drove out to Colorado to visit my sister-in-law and her family.  Couldn't get a clear pic of the Opie but I got the mountains in the background.

DAY 19.  A small gift from a business acquaintance: a Commando (Opinel 8ish knock off).  It's making me think about the smaller Opinels.

Day 19

It's the weekend, so I don't need to carry a lightweight knife today.  I'm carrying my beloved Buck 303 again.  I know that it's probably a very boring knife to you guys, so I'll post something more interesting.  Here's a GEC with what I consider to be the perfect combination of blades sitting below something I love more than knives and multitools ☕😆
