Well almost 3 years after that post, I finally managed to find a Belgian Defence Spirit for sale today.
Not only that, it was priced sharply and was within pickup range.

I'm now the proud owner of a hen's tooth  8)

My goodness I was late with this reply...
No, it didn't come with a box but it did come with the black nylon sheath with brown trim.
In contrary to the OP, it's a stainless steel tool, not black.

It’s such a smart idea for all these armed forces to issue swisstools. The Spirit is an especially useful tool to be prepared.
