Well that is neat...do the logos have any special meaning to them?
I don't know a lot about this one except that I think it is a Boy Scout version.

It's extremely cool, but it's definitely not a BSA issue SAK.

Correct, not America.  I believe it to be from Boy Scouts of a European nation.

Hey Grant, if I remember correctly these round crossbow logos are not Victorinox logos.
They're about a Swiss Cheese maker  :hatsoff:

EDIT:
I can't find the info. I'm sure it was mentioned here on MTO

Yes, it might just be the Switzerland Cheese Association logo or Switzerland cheese trademark.  The later stainless ones do make me think that the origin may be different than just from the cheese related promotion from the mid 60's.

You know, I didn't think about that Lisa but I bet you're right.  I looked at the Ireland Scouting logo and it's close, except it incorporates the shamrock inside the fleur-de-lis.  I wonder if maybe it was a special instance of this?    Regardless, it's a super cool SAK and I'm glad you found it!    :)

More stainless Elinox shields. Best I can tell these were used sometime between ‘76 and ‘78.

It's been quite a while since I've added one to this thread.  Just bought this one today.  Other side is blank.

The script on these things are usually read with the large blade turned up and the shield to the right.  This one has the Thank You printed upside down, at least compared to usual practice.  Interesting.  Of course, there really isn't any up and down on a SAK.  The USFS seal doesn't look out of place at all.  Quite attractive.  Best wishes.  G

I agree IMR4198, the shield doesn't look out of place, at first, I thought it was the Victorinox shield.  :hatsoff:
