Day 13

Pulled out my work clip board/work case for a meeting this afternoon.   PST will ride inside. Strange if I have in my pocket, building security will detain, but if in the Kobalt clip case with a screw driver and unfolded with pliers exposed it passes.

I am very amazed by the differences between the original PST and the PST II 🤩

The original was a pocket friendly tool that could permit you to survive in the wild, or in an urban environment.

The Second Gen version label II, was really a tackle box buddy, or fisherman’s delight!

I truly believe that if I was not so busy with work and raising 4 kids finishing high school and entering college when the II was introduced to the people, I would have snagged one if I had only noticed the functions it would have provided me in my tackle box.   And, my wife would have maybe even gifted me one if I asked.

The scissors and diamond file with hook groove alone would have sold me.

Both (in my eye), serve two different customer’s needs, and if that customer was a DIY type and a FISHERMAN, he would be an owner of both. No doubt!

The reason this challenge is so important EVERY YEAR!
Take us back to our roots, that the simplest tool can be the best approach.

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 15: It's been awhile for me too Alan!  My apologies for not reminding everyone about the Mini Challenge for today.  It was to post a picture of your PST with your favorite hat or headgear.  Here's mine, a black wool slouch cap that I can finally break out again for Fall.

Day 15 + Mini cap/hat Challenge

Good morning world, posting later this morning, had trouble finding my favorite hat!

I wore it this morning for early walk, the searched and searched for today’s PST picture.

Settled on my Tin Caps ball cap(local High A baseball team).   Then realized by most comfortable hat was on my head 🙄

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

The gandermountain logo are on a few hats, would buy when BOGO making them about $5 great for my work when hard hat already messed up my hair for the day. Now wear when bed head is my excuse🫣
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 15 mini-challenge
My PST pictured with my most worn hat.  It may not look it now, but it was glistening and bright white when I got it.

I almost missed the mini challenge  :ahhh

I don't like wearing hats, but I wear this bucket hat on long hikes/walks/runs to protect my face from the sun.

Day 15

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Found my BO PST in a coat pocket this morning as I was moving coats from the hall tree to the closet before new colder weather returns.

Here it is posing with an empty coffee mug as I relax this Sunday morning waiting for my daughter to visit with intentions of cleaning this afternoon.
(Aka the WHITE TORNADO),  as when she she leaves, yes things appear cleaner, but not nothing and I mean nothing is where it belongs. Natural rearranging is the small cost for her delightful visit 😜🌹❤️
