Day 24

My new trimmer line is just slightly too thick for the spool.  The PST worked perfectly to give it a little shove into the slot.  :tu:

Day 24

Expected two packages today, very surprised as both were ordered Friday, 11/21 in the late afternoon.  USPS notified me this morning both were out for delivery. One from Cincinnati , the other from Edmonds, Washington, across the country.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

PST had honors freeing both items.

A advertising SPARTAN as result of a low offer due to the blade being booger up. Edge has been restored now to see if scratches can be e polished out.

The other a Translucent Sapphire CLIMBER in new condition and a fancy lanyard.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I think several tool companies make them as novelty items or promos. Wera even had one that was VDE insulated, in case you have to open any beers that are connected to mains electricity.

Thanks Rich, Antti, fullbreakfast.  :hatsoff:

The bottle opener was part of a screwdriver set that contained Philips and slotted drivers. It also had the flat slotted round key chain tool. I picked up two of these sets around the time Sears was going out of business. I got them for my boys when they move out. Sean uses his set occasionally, Liam shows no interest in his.  :dunno:

Day 25

New hurricane impact resistant windows were installed today, and I found shutter hardware left on the ground.  I will still use the shutters because the hurricane windows may prevent something from getting in the house by absorbing repeated debris impacts, but that doesn't mean they can't get damaged, and these smurfing things are expensive.  The large flat blade on the PST was used to replace the hardware.

Do you prefer the PST II over the original? Whatever the case, you have a nice little group there! :tu:

1 month until Christmas  :ahhh
That means I gotta get crackin' on procuring a Christmas Lego set. :ahhh

I know the recipient will like it. Sure is a looker! :tu:

To show more support for the challenge, I opened tonight's Jarritos with the JPST.

I had to open the handle half opposite the opener tool, but once I did, no problem.

I do enjoy using PST2 more than PST, maybe because i have few backups for PST2 and it has scissors and diamond file what i occasionally use.

I like the PST II scissors.  They're durable and easy to deploy and use.  They also seem to hold an edge for awhile.

Day 26: I also like the partially serrated blade.  It's a good cutter!

Day 26

Yesterday, the first I felt somewhat normal’

Previous two days saw my PST welcoming contents by opening packages.

Today, no planned packages are expected, I am staying home to avoid traffic and unpleasant crowds and lines at grocery store or eating establishments.

Home doing laundry, last load in the drier, may soon warm a lunch in the oven and pay bills and exam new Medicare advantage insurance info.

Other than opening an envelope I missed previously no action is currently expected for today.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

This picture represents the howling wind currently beyond my walls and a wintry mix that is changing the color of my drap green yard to a icey landscape.

Actually the picture background is a lot more pleasant…

I will add any updates for day if any occur.

Stay warm and save if winter grip is expected to visit your world this week.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!
