Thanks.  I couldn’t resist that Wave.

I know I shouldn't say anything, but must extend a compliment 🤗.

You are my kind of lady!   Great friends think alike!

Yes, I not a big WAVE lover, I do have a couple of specials, but that one caught my eye when i saw it and knew it was made with you in mind. Perfect!🤩
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I awlready have a couple LSTs, but I don't think I have an ULTRA LST...

Day 8

Took a screw out to hang some art. Swapping back and forth between the Skeletool and the Switchplier to try to give them both a fair shake.

ArkPro and wave were carried today
Very cool Wave!

The little clip point blade is the coolest.
:iagree:

I prefer to keep a fixed blade in my cars, but when you’re short on space, a folding tri-ad lock is the next best thing.
Maybe stash the fixie under the seat?

I'm kinda surprised I haven't tried a Sleke yet...

Day 8

The USCK's can opener made breaking into the salt and pepper shakers a cinch.

Your Day 10 mini-challenge

Post something you wrote or drew with black ink. Bonus points if the pen is black, too.

Day 8:

A fairly old Wostenholm Jack. I honestly have no idea how old this one is. There was a 4-blade penknife/Senator that dated to no later than 1891 (but could be much, much older) and a 1930s Wireless Knife--also both Wostenholms in this lot. Presumably '50s, but could be as old as the '30s.

Day 8

The Buck 110 LT has the same 420HC steel blade as the standard 110, though with more of a tumbled finish.  It’s also much lighter, thanks to the bolsterless nylon handle.  This, along with its modest price tag, make it a great way to get into the 110 game.

Day 8
Spirit was used to unscrew the filter cover for changing.  While I had it removed, I used the HDS to check out the portion of ducting I could see.

The traditional 110 and the 110 LT feel and look like such different knives, however, they are both great and the LT price is real good.

I think you offered to trade for this one and I turned you down on the basis of, "I want to like it, even if I don't like it," or something. If that hasn't changed by the end of the month I'd be down to send it your way.

Day 9

Another slingshot with its ammo pouch, the KC43 Coal Miner, and a couple of fire starters. The long slim thing is a rechargeable (via usb) firestarter that doesn't need fuel; it uses an electric arc to light your tinder. I've used it quite a bit. And, I always carry a Bic lighter as part of my edc.

Measure twice cut once 👍 🤔

Preparing a piece of scrap carpet for the package area of his Explorer.  The MXBS serrated cuts carpet easily.

Day 9

Bit more interesting in that it had to replace the battery on the G-Shock I'd won on Ebay.  The little pushers on the NexTool was handy for releasing the battery holder, and for resetting the module.

I'm a little iffy on the 3d printed Skeletool hammer. It did work on this thumbtack, which means it technically works.

Day 10 Mini Challenge

I used a black (outside and in) Pilot G2 to draw (poorly) a compass rose. At least I think that's what it's called. Then I used a real compass to hold the pen in the position I wanted it. And, I aligned the drawn compass with the real one by turning the notebook.

Day 10 + Mini Challenge

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Knife = Rough Ryder Cattleman, black Micarta.
Pen = PARKER big red series, mid eighties.
Marker =. Sharpie Black fine point

I have no artistic skills!  Imagination, yet eye, brain, hand skills are not coordinated.

During my part time gig at the Y, encountering children is common.  On one day, checking temperatures from the vents of the heat pumps in the children area I was asked a young man, maybe 5, if I could help him draw a tree and flower for a picture he was making for his MOTHER, his BEST MOTHER too!

I said me, “nah I can not draw!”  His reply, “got to be better than me?”   Challenge accepted. I took a scrap paper and pencil and drew two lines up, and then made a circle above them, he went WOW, THAT is COOL!
I showed him a flower using the same method, but to put the lines closer, and then kinda make pointy leaves with a dot in the middle.  His eyes were bugging out!  Ii was smiling inside.
Every time he saw me, after that he smiled and waved, telling who ever was near, that’s my friend!!!

Very humbling!   Never avoid a chance to help others, the reward is priceless.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!
