Thanks. I couldn’t resist that Wave.
ArkPro and wave were carried today
The little clip point blade is the coolest.
I prefer to keep a fixed blade in my cars, but when you’re short on space, a folding tri-ad lock is the next best thing.
Swapping back and forth between the Skeletool and the Switchplier to try to give them both a fair shake.
Day 8The Buck 110 LT has the same 420HC steel blade as the standard 110, though with more of a tumbled finish. It’s also much lighter, thanks to the bolsterless nylon handle. This, along with its modest price tag, make it a great way to get into the 110 game.
Day 8: A fairly old Wostenholm Jack. I honestly have no idea how old this one is. There was a 4-blade penknife/Senator that dated to no later than 1891 (but could be much, much older) and a 1930s Wireless Knife--also both Wostenholms in this lot. Presumably '50s, but could be as old as the '30s. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
I'm kinda surprised I haven't tried a Sleke yet...
Your Day 10 mini-challengePost something you wrote or drew with black ink. Bonus points if the pen is black, too.
During my part time gig at the Y, encountering children is common. On one day, checking temperatures from the vents of the heat pumps in the children area I was asked a young man, maybe 5, if I could help him draw a tree and flower for a picture he was making for his MOTHER, his BEST MOTHER too!I said me, “nah I can not draw!” His reply, “got to be better than me?” Challenge accepted. I took a scrap paper and pencil and drew two lines up, and then made a circle above them, he went WOW, THAT is COOL! I showed him a flower using the same method, but to put the lines closer, and then kinda make pointy leaves with a dot in the middle. His eyes were bugging out! Ii was smiling inside. Every time he saw me, after that he smiled and waved, telling who ever was near, that’s my friend!!!Very humbling! Never avoid a chance to help others, the reward is priceless.
