Leatherman Exchange?
on: December 05, 2025, 07:34:45 PM
Has anyone here purchased from the Leatherman Exchange? I keep an eye on it and it seems to have new tools every day. Curious how a purchase (or sales process) has gone. And what the consensus is on if this is a place to get good deals or not

There was some talk here about it some time ago, but that's the last thing I've heard.   :salute:

I have seen some decent deals in there - not great deals, just decent.   It might get more interesting once they add the ability to sell discontinued tools.

You have to pay close attention when buying there.  For example, there is currently a (used, of course) stainless Rebar listed for $69.95, when you can buy a new stainless Rebar on the Leatherman website for $64 (20% off at checkout).  The used one does come with a sheath and the new one may not.

But still, there may be some moderate bargains there, and some things that are not bargains.
