2001 Leatherman Wave

I have a 2001 Wave still new in box. Is this uncommon, and valuable? Plan on gifting it to my grandson at some point. I’m not interested in selling it, more just curious as to if it’s considered valuable.

There is a new 2001 Wave listed on eBay in a clamshell for $249.  That's not necessarily what is worth, but what the seller is asking.  Ebay is a good place to look for values, including looking at concluded sales.  That's a nice MT you have there.

I boughted my clamshell OG Wave 60€ and sold it 139€, price depends on seller asking and what price did they go.

If you have one with the leather sheath it will  be worth a bit more than one with the Nylon sheath.
