I have to admit that I was responsible for the sticky.  I'm not sure why I did it, but I wrote a note suggesting it and tied it around a rock.  Then I threw it up on Ms. Phoenix's porch and ran like smurf.  It makes me a little sad that I did it.  Used witchcraft for something so foolish.  I should have asked for wealth or a cute live-in female maid who could cook.  Best wishes.  G

Remember to post some photos when you get it.  I stopped by W-Mart early this morning and strolled by the knife counter.  There were a few more SAKs.  There was an Explorer but it was $54, I think.  A Super Tinker was priced at $41, with a non-superhero Tinker at $31.  All solid red.  Same black Trekker was still in the display.  I guess nobody could scratch up the $68 for it.
I think you will like the Huntsman.  Very useful tool set without being bulky enough to hold your head under water in a fishing mishap.  Best wishes.  G

Oh, I did want to show everyone my silver thingie SC ink pen mod.  It was really rather obvious, but I doubt anyone ever did it before.  Do you think I should apply for a SAK Hacker or Mod Maker badge?  Whatever they are called.  Best wishes.  G

Walmart will price match items on their website if its listed as sold by Walmart.  So that $65 Explorer they would price match to the current $45 on the website.

The HUNTSMAN is the Corkscrew version of the FIELDMASER.
I have that in RED, and a badge I recall.

I can not explain fully, why the SilverTech is my achilles heel presently.    Started with a CLIMBER, I found at a PAWN shop, that is yet in the clam shell.

I wrote how I should have asked for wealth or a cute live-in maid who could cook, instead of the foolish sticky request.  I decided to try this black magic thing one more time.  I wrapped up my live-in maid request with another rock for ballast and hurled it at Ms. Phoenix's porch.  I know.  It's dangerous to mess with the occult.
Someone rang the doorbell late in the day.  I looked out and saw it was Hildegaard.  I opened the door and saw it was Hildegaard with a plate of oatmeal/raisin/ chocolate chip cookies.  Wearing a ultra short french maid's outfit with the micro frilly apron and spike heeled shoes.  Uh oh.
First time I ever saw a lady pushing 80 or maybe pulling 80 in that sort of attire.  I will say that all the line dancing has kept her legs in condition.  She had a glassy look in her eyes, but that may have just been the light on her spectacles.  I let her in and she handed me the cookies and started dusting the place with a feather duster.
I figured to make the best of it.  I sat down with a glass of milk and started in on the cookies.  After an hour or so, she came back into the living room and said the house was all dusted.  She announced that she was going to sleep here.
Think fast.  I said for her to have a lie down on the sofa and take a nap.  I would sit back in the recliner and snooze a while.  I was full of homemade cookies and getting drowsy anyway.  I threw a cover over her while she lay on the sofa.
When I woke up in about an hour, I woke the old girl up.  I told her that she had fulfilled her duties as a cook and maid and slept with me, so she was free to leave now.  She nodded and todding off toward home in her spike heels and black and white mini dress.
I wonder if she will remember any of this later.  Maybe when Eldon comes to visit he will think the french maid's outfit was for his benefit.  I sure hope so.

The real Hildegaard died in 2016.  She had spent several years in a nursing home.  There was a real Eldon too.  He was an old truck farmer who did some rough carpentry to fill in his time.  He was in the army before WW2 and had come home when Pearl Harbor happened.  Went back in and was stationed stateside.  Painted military vehicles in camouflage patterns.  Paint came in blocks that he had to mix with 'white gas'.  One of his paint crew was smoking and burned their paint truck along with compressors, spray guns, and all their equipment to the ground.  He has been dead a long time.  Best wishes. G

I did notice there were no comments about my latest mod.  Figured it was probably just jealousy.  I call it my 'pen knife'.  I think every emergency vehicle in the county went whizzing up the road beside the mighty Cullasaja about 5AM.  The last truck through blew every siren, horn, and klaxon on the rig and got the coyotes out of bed.  Like an ordinary dog, they howl at loud shrieky sounds.  I got a pretty good census and location for the gray fiends.  Best wishes.  G

I like the green in your pen knife.  :D

So... my wife heard me yammering on about the Sapphire Swisschamp, and did something about it.  I have a great wife.

Now I need to find me a pouch so I can carry it.

You would have to go back to 2004 to buy a SwissChamp at a lower price.  Choice of red or black then at $72.  Or you could get one (red only) with a Classic SD for $85 as a package deal.
That is a nice photo of the yummy blue jelly SC.  Best wishes.  G

Update on the 5AM wake up call.  House about 4 miles up the river burned.  One dead.  Just a reminded that the Green Ripper has his scythe sharpened and is looking around for customers.  Name hasn't been released yet.  Might know them.  Might not.  EDC.  Every Day Counts.  Best wishes.  G

Very sad news indeed !

A subconscious reason why GREEN not a preferred color on my chart!

Yet, would not decline the SAk emerald green covers on a translucent if it was extended in good grace😉

And, this morning at top of my email is a AMAZON notification that a SAPPHIRE Swiss Champ to be delivered today!!! 😀.   But sadly, not listed under my account status! 😢.   Apparently, even though I canceled the order, not all branches within the River branches received an update.

To be truthful, my heart skipped a beat, thinking there one yet on the way!   :dunno:

When is the pretty Silvertech Huntsman due?  You were right when you said the Huntsman is just a Fieldmaster with no phillips driver and a corkscrew.  Seems like there should be a Tinker silver thingie, but maybe not.

eBay says today. USPS tracking reports it left GrandRapids Saturday and is on way to next location at that time Saturday.    Or, otherwise. It is in route in another location and waiting for that location to report OOPS!

No idea as of right now! It is not reported delivered either  as my carrier has been already by today.
