Micro Adventure Grill Kit
on: January 23, 2026, 06:43:05 PM
I had a little extra energy and thus I put this together.

The rolltop insulation bag is hand sewn from a scarf I had. Its doubled over to make the walls thicker.

I placed a zipper in the bottom so I can put extra insulation or some kind of IR reflective material in between the walls to retain cold better.

The top opening closes with a simple rolltop.

In the bag go the cold pack, the titanium grill and the titanium spatula. The spatula is in fact supposed to be a rice spoon according to ebay listing.

The meat in some kind of a package is missing as I am not about to need it any time soon.

Perfect for one man on a day outing.

And now I sound as if I am selling the smurfing thing...

Nice.  You probably could sell them, actually.  Best wishes.  Gary

Probably not as I would have to get the Chinese titanium components wholesale and I would have to sell a lot to have any hope of making any money on this.

The good news is, you can buy all the stuff that goes inside. As said, spatula thingy is called a rice spoon on ebay, for the grill just search for titanium grill, there seem to be a plethora of manufacturers. Cold packs can be had in any hardware store where I am from, and I am sure that even more places carry them in you neck of the woods.

Thus only the rolltop bag remains. Fleece scarf seems to be the thing you want to look up to find something similar to what I used. Then all you need is a buckle and some nylon webbing. Maybe some old fanny pack or something.

The first time I used similar setup I used two thick beanies. Place the stuff in the first one, and pull the second one over the head holle of the first.  :D
