I came across some cheaply priced "leather" sheaths on Amazon and decided to buy 2 of their models out of curiosity. They came in and I am thinking when I get better, I might try them on with a belt to see if I can get back into carrying a larger multi-tool. The larger model also has room for a flashlight, a pen. keys, etc...

My question is this...what flashlight would be the best fit for this sheath? I tried a AAA flashlight and found it too thin for the space. I have looked briefly on Amazon for something, but I figured I should ask for some direction from you guys first.

The second sheath can only carry a multi-tool.

A Leatherman Wave + was used for these photos.

I wonder if an Acebeam Pokelit AA will fit in there.

Very nice, I have been considering a sheath like that as well. How does it fit your Leatherman, is it snug enough to hold it securely yet loose enough to take out easily? Please keep us posted :tu:

AzteCypher  thanks for the suggestion. I will look into that. At the moment, I ordered a Yemao M28 flashlight. It was cheap and is one of those square flat styles. I am curious to see if something like that might work.

nakken, the Wave + fits perfectly. It is very snug but can easily be removed if you push up on the tool from underneath.

Thank you AzteCypher, the Acebeam Pokelit AA was exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfectly.

Glad you liked it.  Mine is part of my rotation between it, a Baton3, and a Sofirn.

I did have to read on where to charge it as I saw an included USB cable in the package. The USB C port found on the battery was somewhat well hidden at first glance, and ummm...second glance as well.  ::)  :D

Glad to see I wasn't the only one that didn't see it the first time.

The first time I charged the battery I was surprised that it got so warm.  Not hot, just warmer than I was expecting.  I shouldn't be surprised though because many rechargeable batteries can get warm when recharging.  I think it was a sort of mental block for me because it looks like a AA battery and double AA batteries aren't ever warm.
