First, inquiring minds want to know which model it was.

Second, I guess I can buy “facial laceration and contusion”, but I’m calling bullsmurf on “cervical spine trauma [and] disc herniation”.

She probably snapped her head back when it hit her in the face. What's more surprising to me is $14,000 will actually cover her medical costs.

I remember the good old days at Luna Park in Australia.
There was this ribe called the ZIPPER, in which you were locked in a cage that tumbled as it went up and down.

The loose change in my pocket became airborne and rattled around inside the cage for the duration of the ride.
An Australian 50c piece is a substantial coin and they hurt.
My girlfriend at the time was singularly unimpressed.
I lost BOUT $3.00 not an unsubstantial amount in the 70s.
After that I purchased a small change purse and I still carry them today.

^^^ This.  Snapping the head back.  Weight of the knife multiplied by speed, it takes a surprisingly small item to whip your head back.  She mentions $14k with more treatment expected, wisely keeping the door open.

The real question is...which one of us was in Nickelodeon world on that same day and has since been missing their Victorinox..hmmm?

Waiting in line that wrapped around the roller coaster, I have seen a stray shoe or slipper, wigs, etc. So yeah this can happen.

Well looking at the photo I think that Victorinox, or even the Swiss government, should sue the woman and her lawyers for falsely calling a pocket knife that is clearly not a Swiss Army knife Knife a SAK.
