I don't mind which one I have as long as it has a good can opener on it. That way I can open the bucket I just kicked and escape to haunt people who use knives as screwdrivers for all of eternity.

Years ao while attending my grandfathers funeral. I remembered my father and uncles putting a couple dollars and a pocket in grandpa's shirt pocket.

Saying stuff like "He never went anywhere without a couple dollars and a pocket knife." I found that to be a waste. Give the pocket knife to one of your children or grandkids and then let them pass it on with the story about how this was your father's, grandfather or great grandfather.

I already told my wife that no MT's or knives get buried with me and they go to my youngest boy (he has a geniune interest in them). She told me they wouldn't be going anywhere because they were mine and she would want to keep them as a reminder.

God love her and that is a wonderful sentiment but a Mt or knife is suppose to be used and admired not just put under glass and die of old age.

Check out the Glock entrenchment tool. It's a folding shovel that has a saw in it's extendable handle. I have one and it's a handy piece of kit.
