I think the average person would be fine with going to a Spirit after using a SwissTool, but my sense is that you push your tools fairly hard. I am interested to hear how the Spirit holds up for you.
Just hope you don't have to turn any Phillips, I had trouble assemble a BBQ with spirit because the driver slips so much.

See I can never understand why people don't just take a sharpening stone and square off the drivers I do that with all mine, and it takes less than 5 mins

That would take away one of our few hacks in the Vic -versus- Leatherman debates.

Quote from: NKB on March 03, 2009, 11:45:55 PMThat's a good point but I suppose the response is, why should you have to 'Cause you also have to break in the blades or work your plier head etc. in your brand-new Surge/Charge/whatever, usually "while watching a film on TV"... The funny thing is that you could amend for the biggest sin of Vic MTs "while watching a couple of commercials on TV", and just sit back and watch the rest of the movie without having to blindly open and close something pinchy/pokey/sharp... PS: 4 new posts in the time it took me to write the above couple of sentences? Dudes, you're fast...
Any thoughts yet Dunc ?
