I just got me first Spirit a couple of days ago.  Mine is the XC with the “butter knife”.  I’m really liking this tool.  I especially like that all the tools are accessible from the outside. the box opener/cutter tool, and the feel of the curved handles.

You're going to love it Sherry!  I like the butter blade version better too, but then I also like the Spay Blade on my Trappers too!

Great to see a lot of love for the butter blade - it's really 'different' for Victorinox isn't it? It's got me wishing they would add it on to some 91mm and 93mm models - really useful blade.

Been using the Spirit at work daily for the past 2 months, and using it hard - I work over several buildings and along with the Spirit I carry the 'L' spanner that comes with it, a Topeak ratchet and a 4" adjustable spanner in my toolbelt and they cover a lot of the smaller tasks I have to do without me having to walk all the way back to base to fetch other tools. Brilliant kit!

I can now join this group!!!

My Spirit XC arrived about three weeks ago.

It is a well designed tool, and I consider it a piece of ART.

I agree Mags!  That butter blade would be great on a Spartan.
I've got to get one!  I've borrowed Noah's more often than not.  It hits that sweet spot for size and tool kit.  I have 2 of the full size Swisstools, complete with bit kit, but a Spirit sure carries nicely!

Aren't they beautiful?  Don't let that pretty face fool you.  These tools are tough!

I've been carrying my Spirit on my pants belt now for a while.  I have come to really appreciate it more and more.  A while back I made a post about it and the Wave for no other reason that to highlight each tool.  I carry a Charge TTi on my work tool belt.  I find myself appreciating each tool individually and not needed to compare against one another.  I used to really like my Swisstool more but I am very much of a different mind I think today.  While I can't say or have no need to say which I prefer more ( TTi or Spirit ) I can say the Spirit has been wonderful.

It can take a beating too.  What you see it a tool that came to me used and has been used.  It barely shows signs.  Go ahead and put yours to work and dont worry about marks.  It'll keep shining and performing.

I’m carrying mine today.

It’s the Toyota Tundra edition which I was told was given out when you bought a Toyota Tundra.

I love it!
