No the Spirit is "perfect"....  but a new model(s) with OH blades would be a different "perfect"...

I think Vic is about ready to give us a OH opening Spirit.  They should start with a Spirit 'S' configuration with the file and spear-point positions swapped and make the blade OH.  Then we'll  for the X configuration.

I tell you I feel it in the Force... Vic you cannot resist... release it.

OH Vic Spirit?!?! :o :o :o

Somebody stop me!!!  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :gimme: :gimme: :gimme: :gimme: :gimme: :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :gimme: :gimme: :gimme:
Don't tell me you haven't seen Bobs mod..  :ahhh :ahhh

Absolutely! I've already got one, but the pics are that good I nearly bought another  :P
It's a great tool - I'm so glad I grabbed one while I could

Thanks guys  ;).

I love my new Spirit, only problem I'm having now is that I'm thinking about making it a shelf queen ...  ::)
Maybe I should get myself a "normal" Spirit to be my new workhorse (new problem, I don't know how to explain this to my wife ).

Well, that's just one of life's little challenges I guess  :-\.

I can't hide it when I've bought a new tool, I'm one of those people who keeps his latest tool real close to him. When I'm watching something on TV, my latest multi is always right next to me, so I can pick it up every 30 minutes or so to have another look at it, even as I'm writing this, my new Spirit is laying right in front of me  ::).

When I think about it, I'm starting to wonder if this is normal behaviour .

I'm guessing this sounds perfectly normal to most of us.  I'm just not sure we're necessarily the most objective judges on the matter. :D

Oh, dangerous territory my friend. :o  You could always go for the "look what I won in a MT giveaway" or "these old things?  I've had them for years, don't you remember?" perhaps even "they were such a bargain that I couldn't let them go" or, if all else fails and you've no other choice you could always "tell her the truth":ahhh :D

Enquiring just how many pairs of shoes/handbags (purses)/ pairs of earrings etc she has can put them on the back foot, but also has the potential to backfire badly if you manage to make her feel defensive. ;)

Okay I did tell her about the new skele cx and I have to give credit she's pretty cool. She was disappointed she missed my excitement when I bought it but then she also said no multi for Xmas this year!

Hehe after a while all your multis will look the same to her, so she we won't notice the new shininess  :sak:

I had left my Spirit down at our paintball bunkhouse a few months ago, I've been lost without it.  Thankfully I'll be there this weekend and shall be reunited!

I'm sure this has been brought up before in the thread, sorry I didn't have the time to find out for sure, but I think the Spirit X is the best all around MT for me.  It is my EDC although I don't wear it on my waist.  I'm sure there are many fans or the metal file, but for me if Victorinox could add the belt cutter blade that is on the SwissTool RS to the Spirit X model in place of the metal file that would be the perfect MT.  Call it the SwissTool Spirit 1J2M  :D

I'm nearly in the club, just ordered the plain edge one on Amazon thanks to the OP explaining the model numbers etc. Can't wait to get it, was a toss up between the Spirit and a LM Surge. Reckon I made the right decision...
