Farmer Awl on 91mm?

It looks like it's possible from this pic, but is there any reason it wouldn't work? I have no 93mm's to look at, just wondering what beyond the Swiss Champ array of layers can be added to the 91's.

You can use it but its thicker than the tools that normally go opposite the blade so you have to use a scissors backspring.

Hmmm interesting. So do you mean you have to use the entire farmer blade layer, ie the blade and awl, for the thickness to be right then?

Ignore me, that's what comes of trying to read the forums whilst doing a mod, that happened to involve using the scissor backspring with a blade on it 

Yes you can use the 93mm awl on a 91mm knife but it is thicker than the normal 91mm blade so if possible you might want to thin the spacer that sits next to it by a tiny bit.
