I'm searching for the perfect tool. (I just haven't found it yet) :P

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Gareth,

I will bring a Spirit to the meet.  Trust me, when you close it (others here will agree) the noise it makes is a pure delight.  I predict you will own one within a week of the meet.  :P

I suspect that may be true.  ::)  Oh well, I'd better start saving.

It didn't have that effect on me Gareth, so it's not a foregone conclusion mate ;)

When Flash showed me that noise, I went .

I really can't see what the fuss is about tbh.

Gareth I envy you not having a Spirit because you have a lot to look forward too  :D  Once you have a Spirit there isn't quite so much to get excited about anymore . I take it you have a full size Swisstool ?

I don't think you can have too many, however, I hate the thought of wastage so anything that isn't going to be used needs to go IMO.

or this?

Meh. You're weird :D

If they all get to be used then that's fine (I know they don't though  :D ).

I was and still am far more excited about the full size Swisstool than the Spirit.  The Spirit was great, but it's bigger brother is all that and more IMO.  I'd never chose a Spirit over the biggie.
I'm back!!

I just hope if I'm ever allowed in Dave's house I don't trip on the stairs.  Blood stains are gonna be hard to get out of that carpet.   :o

The sticker on the side of that toolbox seems quite appropos!

Color me impressed.  Perhaps even frightened.  But it's a nice bit of empirical evidence to prove, that no matter what you're accused of, there's somebody more extreme which somehow renders my meager-by-comparison collections closer to "justifiable" and "fiscally responsible" . . .

"Well, ummm, sure, honey, uhhh yeah,  I already have one like that, but  ...  but ... there's this guy, like in Europe somewhere or something, that has like a BILLION of them."

The Spirit is great. I am certain I could manage with it and a SAK for everything I need to do. That's what I take to work everyday come to think of it  ::)
