Gift help...again
on: March 12, 2009, 10:29:27 AM
Hey guys :)

I got a lady mate that is heading back to the.....UK :pok:

I'm wanting to know any good gift suggestions that are UK legal and she would probably use a lot.

Plus's include
-Easy to Engrave
-Suited for business/teaching roles
-Preferably bladeless(is there one)

I was thinking of doing a custom one...but money would bite me in the bum and if I tried it myself...well >:D

Thanks in advance guys :)

The air travel version is a bit lame though as it doesn't even include a nail file.

If not for the Blade a Pink Alox Classic would have been perfect IMO :D

Yes it does, but there is an article on SOSAK about the problems (chipping) that can be encountered when engraving Alox SAKs.
Laser etching would probably be a better option, but not sure how affordable that is and if it could be done considering the size of the engraving panel.

Thanks...I'll probably be getting it in a silver finish. Will the chipping still happen?

Nothing you can give her will compensate the UK part. Kidnap her and run off to Ethiopia.
