lost skeletool bit. can it be replaced?
on: March 17, 2009, 10:03:11 PM
So the flathead bit stored in my skeletool's bit holder (handle) has gone missing

Anyone know where I can get a replacement?  I emailed LM this weekend and still haven't heard anything.

Are those bits unique to the skeletool, ie can a bit-kit's bits be placed in the skeletools bit handle storage?  I've been meaning to get one of those anyway.

You can buy various bits and bit kits, so you'll replace it with something. I'd recommend send a Private Message on here to eleatherman.com (Rob) who will know exactly what's out there.

Best of luck :tu:
I used to come here a lot.

I no longer have a Skeletool but can I recommend you get a combo bit for it.  It makes more sense to switch the bit in the driver around from flat to phillips head rather than  having to pull it out, switch in the handle, and place it back on.
