I am a recovering dentalphobic. Believe me, my childhood dentist didn't believe in anaesthetics or bedside manner - pliers were the soft option! So yeah, I was crazy enough to have tried it When I grew up I got a medical science degree so I'm even more dangerous - anyone need any adjustments doing?

I can understand, as a lad I had a similar dentist, "don't think we'll bother with aesthetic for this one lad" . My present one is a good bloke though. Slightly dodgy knee joints, buggered up cartilage around my sternum and hell of a squint in the right eye... think you can fix them up with MT and a couple of SAKs Neil
Chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid (Cosamin or the cheaper equine version, Cosequine) is supposed to be good.Recently read that leech therapy (yup leech) is supposed to give months of relief from a single "leeching". No joke.
Perhaps that's part of our obsession with tools - fix the things we can control eh?
I too have just allotmented myself... hip joint not pleased but we have the first of many raised beds in place I take 1500mg of glucosamine a day - it might be helping, no idea to be honest!

Looks a bit rough as its made from an old pallet but should do the job. I take many mg of caffeine each day. Pretty certain that helps Neil
Anyone going that isn't physically knackered in some way? As I said somewhere else I've got dodge knees. Although by the sound of it I'm not as badly off as some here.

You boys are so wicked to each other.... it must be love Now then - serious subject here - pay attention 007!I want to get a Spirit for my birthday (the Swisstool kind, not the overproof rum flavour). Happily, my birthday is a week or so after our meet up so I'd thought I'd try this option for tracking one down: do any of you chaps have one you care to sell at the meet? I'm after one with scissors, with or without sheath, ratchet etc. Tim can send one over for about £46 so anything less than that would be splendid. My OH is buying it so it's my job to track a good deal down.Thank you kindly
