those will probably be my last words. newbie signing in here. i'm not completly ignorant when it comes to multitools, i just found this forum so i thought i'd check it out.

the sad part is i don't even have a mt yet, unless you count my versadriver from countycomm. i signed up here to help me decide which one i want to get. it's probably going to be a gerber freehand judging from the reviews i've seen. i know i don't want a leatherman, something about having to open up the entire pandora's box just get to one tool does not appeal to me. :ahhh and i've already decided my next pocket knife is going to be a vic one hand trekker with od handle.

The Freehand is a good tool - it's a big beast. The screwdrivers are not that great though. Actually, I'm being too kind - the screwdrivers are truly awful and let down what is otherwise a good tool.

Which tools do you think you'll use most 1stcavmp77?
I used to come here a lot.

The freehand it a HUGE disappointment IMO! It's heavier than the SURGE, and has the same functionality as a Gerber Vise! No saw or file either..  :(
