What are Swiss prices for SAKS?

What are Swiss prices for SAKS? I know Leathermans cost 2x or more in the UK than they do in the US. Are SAKs the same way in the USA?

Pre 911, when you could buy SAKs at airports (and even on planes), I used to spend a fair bit of time waiting for flights at Zurich airport. Given that the prices there were supposedly duty free, I dread to think what they were outside. Crazy high.
I used to come here a lot.

I had bought my ST-X in the Zurich international airport and it surely was post-9/11. I remember I wasn't allowed to carry it on me, though, so the lady at the swiss army shop arranged for it to be handled by the air hostesses (;)) and I only got to get it back after we landed in Athens... ::) Why should they have all the fun, is well beyond my comprehension...  ::)

I bought my Vic Spirit in Zug (up the road a bit from where my ancestors came from, dating back to the mid 1200's) and I paid essentially the same price as if I were in the US, within a few CHF.  I suspect sales tax in Switzerland is fairly high.

Felinevet prices are almost always cheaper than retail shop prices for SAKs, even in Switzerland, if the knife is available to US dealers.

If you go SAK shopping in Switzerland,  look for the new and the old.   New stuff we haven't got yet,  or nice, minty old stuff if they have it!

The "Swiss Knife Center" in Interlaken had the Traveller Lite before any of the other shops in that city, and almost a year before it made it to the US.
